2016 Fall Shoes Edit

2016 fall shoes edit

In case you can’t tell, I’m so stoked for fall. It’s my favorite season, hands down. The weather begins to get cooler (I hate being hot), my birthday is in September (I’m getting old.), and fall fashions are my favorite (I love layering). Although, I’m still prepping my fall wardrobe, I already know the shoes that I need this season. So, please check them out in my 2016 fall shoes edit.

It’s been years (decades?) since I’ve worn, yet wanted a pair of mary janes. However, these mary jane spotted at ASOS looks more mature thanks to the stacked heel and pointy toe. This shoe will also work great during holiday party season. I already want to pair these with some black, opaque tights and full a-line skirt. Happy thoughts!

Booties are shoe closet staples and you need to have at least a simple black pair within reach. It’s pretty much the law! However, this season, I want to add a little oomph to my fall shoes with the addition of a textured bootie. I’m swooning over this Unique Belvior textured bootie and it’s brown faux snakeskin texture. Looks so amazing! I hope it looks just as amazing in person and paired with some sleek cigarette leg black slacks.

No matter the season, I always need a comfy shoe option. For fall, I’m relying heavily on a pair of loafers to do the trick. These black patent loafers from River Island look perfect. I love the classic tassel detail and the slightly chunky soles. Also, it’s a great workday and weekend shoe.

A cute flat lace-up is appreciated in most seasons, including fall. These grey flat lace-ups from Lola’s Shoetique sold me with the clean design and those cute little puffs at the end of the laces. Seriously, too cute!
