Adorable Baby Shower Invitations

No, I’m NOT pregnant and I’m trying to keep it that way. However, my youngest sister is pregnant and due this fall. Recently, she started delegating those of us in her inner circle with our responsibilities for her baby shower. Since she knows that I’m not into throwing parties, she gave me the simple and relaxing task of sending out baby shower invitations. She’s having a boy, which means I’ve been pinning and screen capturing every boy and/or shade of blue invite I can find. While on this adventure to find adorable baby shower invitations, I was introduced to invitation site Basic Invite.

Need to send out invitations soon? Well, read this before your make that order and then thank me later.

Basic Invite is an online shop that sells stationary and cards for holidays and life events. I have a deep appreciation for paper stationary and invitations. Don’t get me wrong, digital invitations are convenient and affordable. However, I still find the pleasure in sending and receiving paper invitations; they just feel more personal.

Basic Invite is one of the few websites that has an almost unlimited amount of color options with instant previews online. Once you select a design, you can change the color of each element on the card to over 180 different color options. You can make sure the card is exactly how you want it down to the littlest detail. They even have foil cards available in gold, silver, and rose gold. I wish my sister was a having girl, because a rose gold theme shower with rose gold invitations sound amazing for baby shower invitations for girls!

My favorite thing about Basic Invite is that they allow you to order a printed sample of your actual invitation. This helps you to see exactly how it will print and the paper quality before you place your final order. I once placed an order for a custom graphic, because the graphic proof looked perfect. However, when I received the actual order, the colors looked completely different in person. So, ordering an actual copy before placing your order will save you time, money, and stress. You can choose from over 40 different color envelopes, which can make the invitation stand out even before it is opened.

The only thing I hate about sending out invitations is gathering addresses. Having to request addresses can feel very invasive and personal. Thankfully, Basic Invite offers an address capturing service that allows you to request friends and family’s addresses via a shared link on your social media accounts. Afterwards, the addresses which will be stored in your account and can then be selected during the design process.

No matter your stationary or paper card needs, Basic Invite has something that’s perfect for you. This includes save the dates, party invites, or Christmas cards. For your shopping pleasure, I found a code to get 15% off with the coupon code: 15FF51 – I’m not quite sure how long this code is going to work, but worked as of this morning. So…

Now that I’ve successfully figured out my task. All I have to do is show up to the shower to celebrate my new nephew.
