Patchwork doesn't work...for me!

For the past couple of weeks, I have been asked to work a few extra days and hours at work, which means a few more extra bulges to my paycheck. So, I have been planning to buy myself a nice size bag everyday bag. I have taken a fancy to a new Coach, but my fancy is becoming more sour when I took an unwanted gander at the new summer collection from Coach.

The summer collection is filled with my least favorite bag style that has had mem throw fits in the past...patchwork. Ever since that ridiculous sore to sighted eyes patchwork Louis Vuitton from a couple of years ago, more than a few lines have regurgitated their own patchwork bags that are fused with some of the popular styles and/or prints from yesteryear. To this day, I have not seen fabulous end result to this trend and that includes Coach's new collection.

Coach has opted to used various forms of their logo slathered prints and used them in patchwork formation. Blah!

Try again, Coach! Hmm, let me go look around Dooney.

I heart the I Heart U necklaces and the Love Lockets in the "Fall" in Love collection. The chunky rings and the delicate looking bracelets complete me and my jewelry wardobe!

The Be.True line is designed by Gin Bartlett. Gin started making jewelry as a way to give personal and unique gifts to friends and family. What was once a hobby has become a full time passion. More than quite a few of you fashionistas were fawning over fellow fashionista and singer Rihanna's bag that she was seen rocking just the other day. Well, Miss Fenty was seen toting the beige version of Burberry Prorsum' The Masion Warrior Bag. I will admit that when I saw it on the runaway (Rihanna is carrying the one that was seen on the runway), I was in love with all the chunky metal studs that were slathered all over it! It comes with an equally chunky price tag of $3,195, but oh so hot!

Swooning For...tokidoki raincoat

When you reach a certain age and or time in your life, there are things that you have to change or evolve from such as going from mini skirt to pencil skirts. One thing that changes is for rainy days. I use to love my pink reversible raincoat that was solid pink on one side and filled with multicolored hearts on a white background on the other side. I know you remember those.

However, when you get older and dwell in and around more sophisticated and urbanite people and places, fun raincoats are replaced by chic and classic trenchcoats. Don't get me wrong, I looove trenches! I have 7 different trenches in my closet, but there are times I wish I could rock a cute little raincoat. Well, this tokidoki The Candy Cuties Clear Rain Jacketis too cute and although it doesn't have the extreme cutenesss that my old raincoat had, but its still on my 'Swoon List'.

Lesa Wallace Fall 2008 Collection

There is nothing more glorious to a bag hag, such as myself, than to be introduced to a line you weren't fortunate enough to have known about in the past. What  makes it more fabulously glorious is when the line is filled with spectacular and luxurious bags and that can definitely be said about Lesa Wallace bags.

I swoon for a big and colorful bag, so that teal 'Inspire' tote is making me speak in tongues! Lesa Wallace has a fab and vast selection of totes, clutches, handbags, and unisex bags, which are perfect for that "metrosexy" in your life.

Designing Fashion is something that Lesa Wallace has been doing since she was a young girl.  The third of four children within a close-knit Hispanic family, her interest in fashion design really began out of necessity. Lesa longed for her own new clothes, rather than the hand-me-downs she was given from her older sister.  Determined to have a distinguished style, Lesa began altering what her sister grew out of, making it unique and special enough to call her own.  In time, she went from making small alterations in finished garments, to making original creations from scratch.

At the age of 27 years old, Lesa graduated from Fashion Design School earning three degrees. This was the time in her life when Lesa turned her focus to the handbag industry, where she found a lapse in the market for contemporary bags.

Entering into her tenth signature collection Lesa successfully continues to create a signature line of handbags where style and quality meets function.

Lesa Wallace…. “It’s all in my bag.’’

The second season of The Sundance Channel's The Green premiered on April 1st and is a 13 part eco-series that presents and informs on green issues and eco-hereos.

One of the episodes that premieres tonight, which comes on @ 9:00p/e on Sundance, is about the wonderful world of fashion. This episode will focus on the environmental consciousness that has hit the fashion industry in a MAJOR way in the form of various eco-friendly clothing and lines.

Be sure to catch tonight's episode and all the others, because they are really informative. I was lucky enough to have screened a few of the episodes, including tonight's one on fashion and really enjoyed them.

Sold Out

For the past couple of weeks I have been planning on staying up to midnight on May 5th so I could be one of the first people to score a pair of the MOBxCollete Reeboks, since there were only 50 available online. Unfortunately, the mini-cold cocktail I drowned myself with last night knocked me out until 9 this morning and needless to say the shoes were sold out. I guess I will have to keep my eyes open and hopes up that a pair near my size will pop up on ebay.

However, in the meantime, the lastest batch of MOB tees are out and just as hot as ever!

Yay or Nay...Slicks

A little while back, my friend was contemplating buying some clear air 1s, but I told him that they would yellow up and look dirty in a matter of no time. However, maybe it was just a different and slightly less annoying way of saying that clear sneakers are just...weird, especially clear.

Well, I saw these colored slick kicks and wasn't immediately retching like I usually do at clear PVC sneaks, but I am not just completely feeling them either. How about you? Yay or Nay?

BTW, they also have some sequined ones.Uh, here comes the retching.
