There is nothing like a pair glitzy sequin sandals to get me to pep up after a couple of stressful, post lacking weeks and these Mui Mui sequined sandals definitely did that. Maybe something other than the seduction of the bronze and copper sequins. Maybe its the 1930s feel or the scuplted heels and edges! Actually its all the above! Freaking fabulous!!

One of my favorite colors combos is bright yellow and solid pink and one of my fav women streetwear labels is Hellz Bellz! So, needless to say, I am all about this 'Peace Makes Sense' tee by the hotness that is Hellz Bellz. Love it!

These Sergio Rossi pumps have been on my personal 'lust-have' list for the past couple of months. Last night, Ms. Keys lived my elementary and junior high dreams of singing with EnVogue, SWV,and TLC and my mid-twenties dream of rocking these Sergio Rossi pumps! Dream jacker! However, she was, is, and always will be incredible in my book!

I'm not really a belt girl, but this woven leather belt by The Divine Tribe is too fabulous to not want! Its different and would work with a casual or dressy look. It would look great against an all black ensemble! I'm lov...I mean...swooning for this belt!

In the winter, my nails are mostly slathered in nuetral colors of soft pinks, french manicure, with an occasional red or "it" color. However, in the spring and definitely in the summer, I dare to go there with my nails by painting on fun, trendy, and bright colors. This summer, apparently, its all about rocking at least two or more different colors at the same time.

You can alternate colors on nails a la' Solange who stayed basic with black and white or my friend Rose who gave her nails the "rainbow bright" effect of painting each nail a different color. My fav mult-color nails trend is the two different colors on the same nail a la' Amerie. I've seen it done with the colors vertically down, but I love the horizontal slant!

I tried to test this trend out myself this weekend, but its hard to do by yourself. I recommend you hit a nail salon and leave it to pros, like I plan to do this weekend!

Summer brings along not only heat, but all those planned family get-togethers a.k.a family reunions.

I haven't been to a family reunion in a couple of years, but I still remember all the fun and sometimes annoying memories. Those memories definitely came crashing back when I watched Welcome Home Roscoe Jenkins.

Welcome Home Roscoe Jenkins follows RJ Stevens, a successful talk show host, as he returns to his small Southern town to celebrate his parents 50th anniversary after acquiring huge superstardom and a reality TV star fiancee'. Needless to say he and his new big-city attitude don't really mesh well with the small-town values, which brings along a hysterical ride.

I just loved Zac Posen's 2009 resort collection as soon as I saw it on Style.com! Soft, feminine, and beautiful detail. However, one of the things that I love most about the photos above is that they used the KM Gladiator sandals by Matt Bernson.

My friends and family say that I am good at shopping and picking gifts for people. I would have to agree. However, that compliment is not completely true when it comes to shopping for guys and there is one guy in particular that makes me have mini-breakdowns of confusion when shopping for him...my dad.

I am one of the lucky people out there who was blessed to have a dad that did not let divorce, remarriage, distance, or my difficult teenage years (I was growing up and away from him) stop him from being a father and strong presence in my life. Plus, he is really into style and swagger. That's one thing that I glad I got from him! So, add that to the "great father" list and that makes it super, ridiculously hard to shop for him.
