Appreciation post

Well, three years in a row my Memphis Grizzlies have been swept in the first round. For the rest of the playoffs I will be rooting for whichever team has to play the Mavs. Now I am depressed, but moving on to the one thing that can cheer me up: Fashion!

One of the turn offs of shopping for handbags online is not being sure of the actual size of the bag. Will it be big enough to carry all my daily neccessary crap? Is it too big of a clutch to hold all night in one hand while juggling a drink in my other hand?

Well there are some shopping sites that have taken that into consideration and now give you the option to see the bag on a mannequin or even a real model, like Esprit.com!

I for one appreciate those sites, because I have been let down numerous times in the past with the misjudging of the size of a handbag.

When I was still dragging myself around my college campus, I ordered a cute briefcase online that I thought was wide enough to hold my laptop, school books, make-up, and anything else that I could squeeze into it. I was also under the impression that the strap was long enough to hold in my hand or toss on my shoulder. When that big, brown UPS truck pulled up and the driver handed my the box I was so excited. I opened the box and pulled out what I initially thought was a miniture version of the bag I ordered. I was so pissed to discover that this was suppose to be my new briefcase for school and work! It couldn't fit my laptop or even my binder! Don't get me started on my thick Advertising book. I don't think I ever used that bag and it is probably at the bottom of one of these big pink plastic bins that I use to store my collection of bags! Therefore, I am very cautious to purchasing bags online.

Other than Esprit, Eluxury.com also gives you an idea of how most of their handbags look on mannequins. Even JLO shows their hangbags on real models and like I said "I appreciate it!"

Now I am off my Dove soapbox and off to bed, because I am exhausted and I have alot of stuff to do tommorrow and especially Wednesday; another interview!

Stay Stylish!
