I forgot that it was Cinco de Mayo! Since my mom is mexican-american, I usually make a mexican dish for dinner. Since I forgot, no tostadas today.

Anyway, last month I bought a thing of Veet no blade shaving cream. It came with a sample of Veet facial strips. The next day I tried to touch up my eyebrows using the strips. It sucked! I followed directions and every thing, but it did not remove one single strand of hair. It did, however, pull the hair out further, which made it more noticeable. I tweezed the hair off and decided I would wait a while before I tried it again.

Today,when I got out of the shower, I noticed that my mexican side was flaring up, which means that my facial hair was showing. I went into the top drawer of my dresser and found the remaining strips and decided to give it another go. Same crappy result! I am so glad that these were free and I did not have to dip into my "beauty fiend fund" and drop some change for this crap.

I will just stick to shaving, tweezing, and waxing, because those strips sucked!
