Today I had quite a productive day; fixed my database, got a pedicure, and endured cloud and rain while enjoying the Beale Street Music festival. Although there were no performers in particular that I wanted to see, I enjoyed the atmosphere.

The sucky part is that I could not wear any cute shoes because of the fear of mud stains. Not all stains are bad, but stains made of mud, spilled beer and various flavors of BBQ sauce are!

I am also happy to annouce that I refrained from anything other than water in satisfying my thirst. It was hard seeing all those strangers and my entourage of girly girls downing soda, beer, and those oh so good and "I wish they were nutritious" Hurricanes! The burden of Beale Street! Anyway, the party is still going, but I ate so much junk and screamed and yelled that I decided that I needed to call it a night. I will definitely be back down there tommorrow for the last day.

If you can get to the corner of Beale and Second in Memphis, Tennessee by noon tommorrow then meet me there. I will be the one with the pink tee, white long shorts, thin gold belt, gold strappy sandals, crying with a big bottle of water with a group of girls guzzling alcohol, but looking fab at the same time!
