Over the past few days, I have been keen to try some new and unexciting things. Tried to give myself bangs, but there was nothing banging about the outcome. Luckily, I didn't cut them short and they have enough length to be pulled back in a ponytail. I gave a guy the we-r-better-off-as-friends mantra via text messaging at 5 o'clock on Sunday morning. Nothing more to elaborate, because he was so not my type. Just going out with a guy that I was not physically attracted to was something else new. Add that to the list.

For the past year, I have been itching to try something else new and since I had quite the awakening weekend, this might be the perfect time to do so. I have been wanting to try a pair of hidden wedges. Since college, I have not been a wedge girl. Its been heels, cute flats, and go-to always-classic Converses. However, when I saw these hidden wedge ruffled booties by Free People, I knew it was time.

Ugh, how cute! The cafe colored pair are on their way to me as I type. I can't wait!
