Dressing Up My Crystal Light Green Tea with Raspberry!

Crystal Light’s On the Go packets give you the ease of a delicious and healthy alternative to soda with the same ease and convenience. They offer a variety of flavors to help keep you happy and hydrated all summer!

For the past week now, I’ve been shoving soda to side and instead, reaching for a Crystal Light’s Green Tea Raspberry on the go. As a lifelong Southerner, nothing screams summer like a glass of ice tea in a mason jar. So, I dusted off these jars that I’ve had nestled in my cabinets and fixed me a glass of Green Tea Raspberry splashed and garnished with lemon and lime. Let me say that the Green Tea Raspberry tea ALONE is amazing, but sometimes you have to switch it up and this combination has been my addiction to unwind after work and I do see me shaking this monkey off my back anytime soon!

So, if you are looking for a quick, healthy and delicious alternative to soda, you should definitely check out Crystal Light’s On The Go mix packets. I recommend the raspberry green tea. AMAZING!

More Kelly Green, please?!

I always get compliments when I wear kelly green. ALWAYS! So, apparently, kelly green is my color and I love it, too. It just sucks that the only thing I have in that color is a cropped cardigan, which I just wore this past Friday, and an old SAK satchel that is starting to fade and lose it “kelly-ness”.

So, needless to say, I might need to start loading up on kelly green pieces. Ironically, I received this month’s Anthropologie catalog and on the front cover, the model is wearing a pair of AG Stevie Ankle jeans in kelly green and they look amazing and I was sold instantly on finding a pair of kelly green pants or jeans.

They would be perfect to wear all summer and plus, I can pretty much guarantee I what I will be wearing every March 17th for a while. So, yeah, I need to find a pair….SOON!

PMD Personal MicroDerm System

A couple of months ago, I received this Personal Microdermabrasion system to test out.

I’ve had microdermabrasion sessions in the past and they were amazing and I felt and saw and instant change n my skin. However, they can become pricey over time. So, to know that there is now an system that you use at home is pretty amazing.

The PMD Personal Microderm System is a handheld microdermabrasion tool to help smooth away the signs of aging. The results are definitely on a professional level.

After the first use, I instantly felt and saw results in the smoothness of my skin and the overall look.

The kit comes with the microdermabrasion handheld tool, 2 caps(small and large), 2 green pads, 4 blue pads, and a DVD that you should definitely before using. The DVD thoroughly explains how to use the system and techniques and which pads work for you.

With this uber-hot summer weather and my desire to need smoother skin to feel comfortable enough to wear minimal makeup, this microdermabrasion kit is a summer skin necessity for me.

I HIGHLY recommend you add one of these systems to your beauty regimen.

Nike Gladiateur II sandals

I’m in beast sneaker-mode. After years of constantly dropping money on sandals, heels, and boots and occasionally a cute pair of sneakers, I’m back in my kicks and J’s mode of wanting the hottest in latest sneaker out. Although, I’ve only bought a few pairs of sneakers and they aren’t the hottest kicks of the moment, I have a feeling this is just the beginning.

In the meantime, I’m shocked to say that I want these Nike gladiateurs II. When I saw the first version of these Nike gladiateurs a couple of years ago, I was very “nah.” When I was at Finish Line this past Friday, I saw these and was very tempted to get them but opted to play it safe and it get a pair of classic white casual sneakers.

However, I can’t seem to shake them out of my mind. I might just have to buy them this weekend. I don’t know.

Lust-Have List: July 2011

It’s hot, I constantly feel like I’m melting, and the less fuss, the best. So, this month lust-have list is continuing on my easy breezy summer lifestyle.

  1. NARS Body Illuminator in Laguna, $45, Sephora – I’ve been really impressed by NARS’ illuminators and I’ve always been a fan of the Laguna bronzer. So, this sounds like I could be a potential stan of this product.
  2. Printed Ruffle Chiffon Dress, $36.94, Old Navy – Yep, I’m still in dress mode, although I haven’t really been wearing dress, but still I’m yearning for them. This light yellow chiffon dress from Old Navy looks so light and easy. Just what the doctor ordered for me.
  3. Gray Quartz Ring, $42.75, All The Rage Online– I’ve been obsessing and pondering buying this ring. I love the natural texture of the stone and not to mention the chunkiness.
  4. Carlos Falchi Matte Microfiber Tote, $220, Saks.com– It’s a cobalt blue tote! A fabulous and big cobalt blue tote by Carlos Falchi! Love.
  5. Jeffrey Campbell ‘Esmerald’ Glitter Sandal, $64.95, Nordstrom– Probably the prettiest slide-on sandals I’ve seen in a while! I imagine that these are the shoes Cinderella would wear on vacation. Beautiful.
