One of my favorite things in life is a well-worn, soft vintage tee. I like to think of myself as a comfy tee connoisseur, because I know the feel of a tee that will age nicely. Unfortunately, it can take a long time to wear out a tee from crisp and constructed to soft and worn. Thankfully, we don’t have to wait it out, because there are plenty of affordable vintage tees. Gazing at Starry Styles

Last summer, I scored a cream peplum top covered in gold stars, which is one of my favorite tops. Ever since then, I’ve been obsessed with anything emblazoned with stars. Not to mention, there are a lot of star covered items out there. Starry styles are whimsical, my new favorite print, and I need more. One of the good things about all over prints like this is that you can keep everything else minimal. However, you can also go star crazy and I won’t judge.

Since my only star covered item is a thin peplum top, think I should I should get a warmer item that I can wear in the colder months. Printed Sweaters I’m Pondering

It’s been consistently chilly these past week, finally! This weekend, while watching/listening to documentaries on Netflix, I decided to pull out the rest of my sweaters from the top shelf in my closet. While ankle deep in my sweaters, I realized that they were all solid colors. I wasn’t too shocked, since most of my clothes are solid colors. However, for the past few months, I’ve been trying to test out the world of prints. After wearing a few printed dresses recently, I like them a little more every time. Therefore, I feel I need to added some printed sweaters to the mix.

Last night, during commercial breaks during The Walking Dead, I found a few sweaters with prints that didn’t make me question who I was becoming. Embracing Prints for Fall with Simply Be

I am a creature of habit that loves to be comfortable. I also love for things to be easy. Therefore, I can get stuck and start to hate everything. One thing I learned about trying to get unstuck is to get uncomfortable. A few months ago, I realized that I had become stuck in my closet of basic pieces that I can switch and mix with each other. As you might be able to tell, fall is quickly approaching. So, it’s almost time to pack up those sleeveless tanks and tops and pull out the long sleeves. This is one of the reasons me and my flabby arms love this time of year. However, this season, a simple and basic long sleeve just won’t do, because it’s all about statement sleeves. Needless to say, me and flabby arms are here for it and you should, too. Plus, I’m usually here for statement pieces.
