Gazing at Starry Styles

Last summer, I scored a cream peplum top covered in gold stars, which is one of my favorite tops. Ever since then, I’ve been obsessed with anything emblazoned with stars. Not to mention, there are a lot of star covered items out there. Starry styles are whimsical, my new favorite print, and I need more. One of the good things about all over prints like this is that you can keep everything else minimal. However, you can also go star crazy and I won’t judge.

Kitten Heels Are Back, but Why?

I like trends, because they’re fun and easy to get into. Also fast fashion stores create cheap options at an alarming rate now a days. However, one trend that I’m having the hardest time getting on board with are kitten heels. Yes, kitten heels are back from Lord knows where to give our calf muscles a break from 4 inch heels. Although they look way more comfortable to walk around in than high heels, they can look a little too dated.

Velvet Shoes To Kill The Game This Fall

It’s been damp and rainy these past couple of days and the last thing I should be thinking about are velvet shoes. However, that’s all I’ve been thinking about, because it’s one of my favorite shoe trends for fall. Also, a couple of weeks ago, I scored a pair of pink velvet flats on clearance from Target for less than $8. They are, hands down, one of my proudest purchases this summer. So, no matter how impractical they are on rainy days, all I want is velvet shoes. Not to mention, velvet is a must-have fabric for fall and winter.

Classic Loafers Are My Latest Obsession

Every so often, I become quite obsessed with certain styles of things from fur pillows to peplum hem shirts. Recently, I realized that I’ve become obsessed with loafers and not those trendy loafers. Instead, I’ve been all flat, dark leather classic loafers. I know very preppy, which is not me. However, I love the look of them paired with boyfriend style jeans or those destroyed hem skinny jeans that everyone seems to be wearing now.
