September is my favorite month! Not only because it’s my birthday month (September 26), but also it’s the first official month of fall. Although the heat hasn’t completely left the forecast, there have been some days when I had the option to throw on a cardigan to fight the early morning chill. Score! So, I know the cool days are soon to come, as you will be able to tell in the things I’m lusting for this month. Take a look below.

• MICHAEL Michael Kors Selma Large Tote – Every fall, it’s nice to invest in a new black, everyday purse. For the past couple of weeks, I’ve been eying this bag from MK. I’m into structured and clean lines this season and this purse looks like it fits the bill. I think this is going to be my birthday gift to myself.
• Marc Jacob Daisy Dream – I’ve loved all the Marc Jacob Daisy perfumes and I’m sure this will follow suit.
• Schutz Quesadilha Slingback Mules – I slingback, chunky heel, ankle strap mule! Yes, please! Plus, the black/brown combo will carry you from fall to winter and possibly right into spring. Options are girl’s true best friend.
• Disney Cartoons Graphic Sweatshirt – When Forever 21 released their Disney collab collection, all the pieces were fun and nostalgic. However, this sweatshirt was the one item that I wanted instantly and would look great paired with black leggings, jeans, or even skirt.
• A Taste of Honey Almost Lipstick Trio – One of my favorite lipsticks from Clinique is the cult classic Black Honey Almost Lipstick, which is a sheer deep burgundy that compliments all skintones and is my go-to lip for fall and winter since it adds a moisture to your lips. However, I’ve yet to try the other “Honey” Almost Lipstick. So, the fact that Clinique has temporarily released them as a trio makes it all the more perfect time to buy and try them…finally!

It’s so hot and I’m all about trying to be casually cute. You know, nothing too frilly and overdone. I’m into simple pieces styled with fun, yet chic accessories and minimal makeup, which is pretty much the same as last month. So…

• MCM 3 Fold Wallet, $315, ShopBop – I’ve been eyeing this wallet for a few weeks now and I think this is the month that I’m finally going to bite the bullet, because this old wallet I have is peeling and I need a new “grown up” wallet that has a fun edge and this MCM fits the bill and dollar bills. Sorry for the lame joke.
• Benefit They’re Real! Push-Up Liner, $24, Sephora – A gel liner pen?! Oh, this sounds like something I needed…say…last year! I need to try this ASAP!
• RAINBOW Gladiator Sandal, $110, TopShop – I haven’t wanted a pair of white gladiator style sandal since I was in junior high when neon floral prints and thigh highs were in and Clueless was fashion blueprint. Yet, I’ve been craving a pair like these I spotted on TopShop’s website. Simple, yet versatile.
• Alice & You Pleated Skater Skirt, $47.64, Asos.com – I feel like I need this skirt from Asos Curve line more than I want it. Plus, a navy skater skirt? Why don’t I already have one in my closet? That needs to end soon.
• Classic Chuck Taylor, $50, Converse – It’s summer time and I need a new pair. Everyone needs a new pair, every year.

I’m feeling very adventurous or at least yearning to be a little adventurous, which I like to think is the same thing. Anyway, I’ve been embracing more colors and thoughts of more adventures and hobbies.

So, here are a few things that I’m lurking and lusting for this month. Dig in!

• Josie Maran Argan Infinity Lip and Cheek Creamy Oil, $18, Sephora – When the weather warms up, in regards to make-up, less is more. Less time and less product is my go-to motto and this creamy lip and cheek oil is the perfect product that will give you that naturally dewy look that every one tries to create.
• Michael Kors Padlock Charm Necklace, $125, ShopBop.com – It’s pretty and would look great layered with other small necklaces.
• Samsung Galaxy s5 – I have the Galaxy s3, which I really love, but it has ran its course and all the upgrades and new additions to this phone have me in awe and lust.
• Dolce Vita Fiji Flat Sandals, $139, ShopBop.com – These sandals would look fab when dressed down and cute for a hot night on the town.
• Suede Snake Embossed Luggage Bag, $160, TopShop – I plan to go on a girls weekend with my sister this month and my goal is to only pack one bag and this one from TopShop is super cute.
• Crepe Woven Shift Dress, $32.80, Forever 21 – I want this dress! The versatility in this dress is all over the place. Perfect for day and night and would chic paired with strappy sandals or a classic pair of pumps.
