eSTYLIST: Fall Uniform 2023

Fall Uniform 2023 | STAINED COUTURE

Has it officially been Fall for over a month now? Yes. However, has the fall weather been taking it’s sweet time in showing up? Absolutely. Therfore, I’m a little late with trying to  figure out the vibe I want for Fall. Somehow I landed on cozy grundge and I’m not mad at it.

To be honest, it’s been feeling more like Winter the past  few days around my parts. I was not ready for lows in the upper 20s and highs in the low 50s, but it’s been happening…a lot! I probably should’ve added  coat to this look, but I”’ hold off for now. Yoy may notice that I didn’t include a bag for fall. Well, I’m still toting perfectly worn Madewell tote and actually works with this look, too.

Still, my style is very laid back, but can easily be dressed up or down, if needed. I think look aligns with my style and vibe for this season. All the details of this look are below.

eSTYLIST: Fall Uniform 2023

  • High Waisted Black Skirt – Honestly, this whole look is based around this skirt. I’ve been wanting a high waisted fitted skirt and I love the small slits on each thigh
  • Cable Knit Button Down Cardigan – Personally, I can’t imagine most fall looks without a sweater. A cable knit cardigan will always work for me and the chunkier the better.
  • Outkast Photo Tee – I’ve always loved the look of simple oversized cardigans over fun graphic tees and this Outkast one works perfectly for this look.
  • Super Opaque Black Tights – I want to start buying black opaque tights like I do black leggings; I need them all!
  • Platform Boot – How sick are these lace around Doc Martens?! I gave away the last pair of Docs I bought, but I think I need this pair.

LUST-HAVE LIST: November 2023

LUST-HAVE LIST: November 2023

LUST-HAVE LIST: November 1, 2023 | STAINED COUTURE

We made it to November, which means it’s practically Christmas! Well, maybe not just yet, but I know people have already begun pulling out their boxes of decorations. I had planned to take my tree out last weekend, but I forgot that Dias de Muertos was this week. I usually pack my Day of the Dead decor with fall and my BFF gave me an altar for my birthday. My altar is for my mom, who was Mexican American, which I’m going honor.

However, this weekend, I have a feeling that my apartment will be looking a little fa la la. Although the December Lust-Have List is basically my Christmas wishlist, this month’s list are things I can’t take a chance on my personal Santa Clauses not getting for me.

So, check out this month’s Lust-Have List for November 2023.

LUST-HAVE LIST: November 2023

  • Pumpkin Dutch Oven – The pumpkin dutch oven was hard to find item last year and I need to get one. The traditional pumpkin one is nice, but this cream one is versatile.
  • Eagles Jersey Ornament – Isn’t this jersey ornament adorable? However, it turns into a bag charm when the tree comes down. GO BIRDS!
  • Powerhold High Waisted Legging – If you’ve never experienced Fableti leggings, you need to change that ASAP! They make my go-to legging, but I’ve lost some weight since buying them. Therefore, they don’t compress like they use to and I need another pair – probably a couple!
  • Cute Compression Socks – Speaking of compression, I need to add compression socks, too. I started working out more and compression helps with muscle soreness and these are super cute.
  • Perfume Sampler Set – I bought this sample set last year, because you get a card to select a full size of one of the sample in the set. I got it last year and even did a TikTok series of me trying a new scent everyday to help figure out which one I wanted. In the end, I selected YSL Black Opium, which smells so good. I want to do it again this year and see which scent I select. I’m already excited!

LINK-END ROUND-UP: October 27, 2023

LINK-END ROUND-UP: October 26, 2026 | STAINED COUTURE

Happy Friday! Can you believe this is the last Friday of October?! Madness, I tell you, madness! What’s your Halloween costume? I’m rocking my go-to costume of pajama pants and oversized t-shirt, because I was able to get myself out of having to go to Zoo Boo with my sister and nephew. 2 years in a row!!

I hope you had a good week! My week started with me having to take a sick day beause of a slight cold and sore thigh. What I thought old age showing up in my hip actually turned out to be a muscle pull from having my office chair raised up too high. Lesson learned. So, I’ve spent most of this week walking with a limp and massaging my thigh whenever I think about it.

My weekend plans may sound wild to some of y’all, but I think I might start pulling out my Christmas decorations. Now, don’t take this is as I’m putting them up! I’m just taking the boxes out of my storage and putting them in my dining room. I ended up buying a new and bigger tree last yer – after already putting up my old one. So, I don’t think I got to spend as much time with my new massive tree last year.

A week ago, I decided that I wanted to put  my tree up on November 1st, but I may have calmed down a little with that thought. However, I do think it will be up before Thanksgiving, because I’m ready to get into the holiday spirit. *Shrug* Plus, I don’t wan to take the chance the hustle and bustle of work and life overwhelms me and deters me from getting in the spirit.

While I decide on how early do I want to take on the Christmas 2023, please check out the reads in this week’s Link-End Round-Up.
