First Friday of August!

Last month, I was all about trying to get my life on track. For August, I want to focus on time management – I’ve been failing at it these past few weeks. I’ve been trying to accustom to my new schedule and juggling all of my responsibilities. This is the reason that I haven’t been posting as consistently as I’m accustomed to doing.

Trying to juggle managing a blog, freelance jobs, and a full-time job can be tedious. However, once I figure out a schedule, I’ll be okay – I’ve done it before.

My focus for this month is time management, but my focus for this weekend is peace. I’ve had a stressful week that started with me paying around $700 to replace my radiator, because my A/C went out in my car last week. Plot twist: my A/C still doesn’t work and now I need to replace my A/C compressor or something or another that’s going to cost me almost $1000. Ha.

That’s a dilemma that me in 2 weeks will have to ponder paying to get done. Now that I’ve found a good waterproof makeup routine and don’t spend much time in my car, I might be able to hold this off for awhile. We’ll see.

This weekend, I want to the less stuff, as possible. I’m thinking binging this season of Big Brother while eating snacks – everything I was supposed to do last weekend instead of buying a new radiator.

Hey, ya’ll! Hope you week was lot more relaxed and chilled than mine. Pretty much everyday after work this week, I had something to do. There had car maintenance appointments, book club meetings, and errands to run – to name a few.

So, I’m really looking forward to this weekend, my sister and I plan to binge this season of Big Brother. It’s our show and this is the first season that we haven’t watched and followed. The main reason is because we don’t live together anymore. However, we both have been busy with work and she has a 10 month old. I hope this season is good. *fingers crossed*

The heat wave we’ve been experiencing for the last few weeks has finally relaxed. So, I’m looking forward to not waking up to 90 degree weather at 5 am. I might even start going for morning walks again – maybe.
