I’ve been an emotional semi-wreck all week. Maybe it’s the feeling that my time is running out to get things down. However, it just might be PMS is rearing it’s ugly head and I need to get ready. It’s probably the latter, but I’ll survive.

Although it’s still summer, I can definitely feel the fall vibes rapidly approaching. Thankfully, the humidity is no longer lingering in the heat. Actually, I’ve been able to drive with the windows down and keep my makeup in tact for most of the day. Come thru, FALL!

Last weekend, I intended to start sorting out my closet, but I was just too tired. I didn’t even get around to washing my clothes until the other night, because I was running out of things to wear. I was literally one away from having to wear fall and winter stuff. Now that all my clothes are clean, I will begin sort clothes to put up, donate, or toss. I’m planning to put on some music, light some incense, and get it done. Actually, I’m looking forward to it.

Send me a prayer and bottle of rose’ that next week is a little more emotionally chill for me and you. Let’s chat some more next week.

Although I’m a blogger and like to share products that I think you might enjoy, I can be skeptical when other people recommend products. On social media, especially, I can be a little skeptical when an “influencer” shares and recommend a product. Unfortunately, it can be hard to decipher if they really like it and/or they really like the money they got paid to share it. However, there are some bloggers and/or influencers that I really trust, because they are authentic and trustworthy.

If it wasn’t for a fellow blogger that I trust and following for sharing this product, I wouldn’t have thought to buy it. Not only did I buy it, but I fell so in love with it that it’s this week’s Item of the Week! Keep reading to see why.

LINK-END ROUND-UP: August 17, 2018 | STAINED COUTURE

Happy Friday! This week was kind of blah this week. I feel like my emotions have been all over the place; highs and lows. For instance, I got my nails done on Wednesday, which was a self-care high. One low included apartment searching in a time when apartment rates increase, because college students returning for instance. Now I see why mom use to hate moving. All in all, nothing majorly bad has happened to me personally. Mainly, just being an adult stuff is making me anxious and stressed.

My mind has been all over the place that I even started slacking in my nighttime routine. So, this week, I started back to my nightly routine, hydrating sheet mask, and even started dabbling in mediation again. It’s been helping tone down my anxiety a little. Not to mention, a soothing sheet mask after a long day is so appreciated.

I think I’m going to spend this weekend doing some deep cleaning and maybe even some light packing. Even though I probably won’t be moving for a couple of more months, it’s never too late to decide what I’m dragging with me.

Hope you all have a great weekend and let’s chat some more next week.

IN MY BAG: Summer 2018

Summer isn’t over, yet. We still have another month or so before we can officially welcome fall. However, now that the weather is trying to cool down and kids are back in school, it might as well be fall. I’m not going to miss much about summer, because it was hot and stressful. However, one thing I will miss is the bag I carried for most of the summer, which is also my favorite thing I bought recently. Although it wasn’t big, you wouldn’t believe all things that I would have in my bag at any given time.

The bag I carried most of the summer is round straw bag by Hat Attack. When I saw it online, I thought it was white with silver detail. However, it’s actually a really light gray with silver straw. I love it and I’ve gotten so many compliments on it. However, keep reading for all the details on what’s been lurking in my bag all summer.

Another week has commence and I couldn’t be happier. Don’t get me wrong, I didn’t have a horrible week. Actually, it was pretty smooth, but I’m just glad to make it to the weekend.

Like I mentioned in the August 2018 Lust-Have List, I tend to use August to rest and prepare for the rest of the year. So, I’ve been paying extra attention to goals I want to reach and tasks I have to tackle before year’s end. For me, I don’t mind change and growth, but it just takse me a minute to get into beast mode and take it head on. The main reason is because I over analyze when it comes to big things. I like to create and nail down a plan first, but I have a hard actually creating the plan.

When I was child, teen, and even during college, I was able to get things successfully done at the last minute. Not only was able to get them done, but without any pressure. Unfortunately, I’m no longer able to do that, because now I occasionally get anxiety and self-doubt. Although I rarely get them, when I do – UGH!

Well, let me get off that road and get back to what I was initially talking about. I have been absorbing so many topics that have been swimming around my mind, which tends to be mapped out in my weekly Link-End Round-Up. After looking at the below articles that I decided to share, you can get a glimpse into what’s currently on my mind.

Here’s to a good weekend to prepare us for an amazing next week.
