Link-End Round-Up: March 16, 2018

Sorry for the lack of posts this week, but it’s been a long week, sis. Work has been overwhelming and I can’t recall when I’m coming or going. Not to mention, I’ve come into the office the past two weekends in a row to make headway with these never-ending projects. Well, I’m not coming in this weekend. Actually, other than going to church, I plan to stay at home and catch up on some rest, TV, books, and any other of my favorite lazy day activities.

Actually, I just really need to meditate, drink some more water, and rest my mind. I try to be an advocate for self-care and one of the best ways to partake in self-care is to rest. Unfortunately, I haven’t been doing that and it’s very unlike me. So, this weekend, I’m not going to think about the office, my desk or my inbox full of other people’s concerns. It can and will wait until Monday.

In the meantime, take some time this weekend to relax and regroup, because spring is only a few days away. #Finally

ITEM OF THE WEEK: Rose' All Day Serum

I love the smell of roses and anything that smells like roses. This Physician’s Formula Rose’ All Day oil-free serum not only smells like roses, but makes my face smell like them, too. Link-End Round-Up: March 09, 2018

Here’s to finally reaching Friday! This week felt like this past January; unnecessarily long. However, we made it through and I actually had the time to share a new post everyday this week. Yesterday, I shared some of my go-to blog posts ideas, which was fun and long overdue. I’ve been sitting on the idea to write and share that post for a long time. So, I’m glad that I was finally able to get that out my draft folder. I plan to share more blog tips and content development ideas in the future, because it’s definitely one of my passions.

The weather is suppose to be cold, rainy and gloomy all weekend. So, it’s the perfect time to do some overtime and make progress in some projects I’m working on. As for Sunday, it’s daylights savings day and we’re going to lose an hour. Therefore, I’m going stay in and mourn that priceless hour. Time is money, right?! JK…kinda. Despite the gloomy weather and the lost of an hour, I plan to have a nice, relaxing weekend. I also want to dedicate some of my Sunday to sorting out my calendar. I have so many obligations for the next couple of months that I need to properly schedule in my calendar. Plus, I want to make sure I don’t have any conflicting dates, because I hate when that happens.

Back to good stuff! I hope you all have an amazing weekend and stop by on Monday to see what this week’s Item of the Week will be. Here’s a hint; roses!

ITEM OF THE WEEK: Scrub and Cleanser Stick

ITEM OF THE WEEK is a weekly series on Stained Couture that highlights a product we’re currently loving. New item shared every Monday.

ITEM OF THE WEEK: 2-in1 scrub & cleanser stick

I’m notorious at picking up products people leave in the checkout aisle after deciding not to buy it. It’s the same reason that I tend to Sephora and Ulta with more products from their checkout outline selection than from the actual store. A couple of weeks ago, I stopped into Ulta to pick out a new foundation and only foundation. While waiting for 2 teenage girls in their private school uniforms to pay for their basket of goods, I saw this a product swimming in sea of heavily discounted Christmas lotions. After swimming it out, I saw that it was a Yes To Tomatoes Scrub and Cleansing stick.

Keep reading to see why it’s the ITEM OF THE WEEK!
