LINK-END ROUND-UP: November 18, 2016

link-end round-up november 18, 2016

Can you believe that Thanksgiving is less than a week away? Well, I can’t believe it. However, I’m always down to spend a day of eating, napping, and repeat. After all the political and personal “stuff” of recent, this will be a perfect time to congregate with friends and family. I’m taking some time off from work next week. So, you might be short a couple of posts next week, including Link-End Round-Up. To be honest, I will probably be in a food coma and not have the time to write one. Also, it’s going to be Black Friday.

Since I don’t have any kids to stalk the must-have toy of the season or the need to cop a 55″ inch TV for $99, I have no reason to deal with early morning Black Friday shoppers. The only Black Friday shopping I will partake in will be online only. I might venture out into some stores that night, but that’s a very soft “might”.

I read a lot of articles this week and it was so hard to narrow down which ones I wanted to share. However, these are the ones that interested me the most. So, I hope you enjoy this week’s Link-End Round-Up and stop by next week for a couple of posts…maybe. 🙂

LINK-END ROUND-UP: November 11, 2016

link-end round-up november 11, 2016

I’m so happy that this week is over and I’m also happy to bring you this week’s Link-End Round-Up. I’m so happy election season is over, but super depressed with the results. I’m in the acceptance phase. So, I’m just hoping that everything works out in the end. We are definitely in for a new ride. However, if we stay strong, supportive, and grounded, we should be okay. I mean, it’s only 2 years until the next congressional elections and 4 until the next presidential. We are going to be alright.

If you follow me on Twitter, you might know that I was also dealing with a stomach flu on Wednesday morning. I had a rough Wednesday morning. However, it was only a 24 hour bug and I feel so much better. However, I plan to just relax this weekend. I still feel so drained from all the things that occurred over the past few days. So, a couple of laid back days sounds like the best remedy.

See you next week and enjoy this week’s Link-End Round-Up!

You might recall me mentioning that I recently experienced and unexplained breakout. Over the past few weeks, I’ve been introducing my skin to a few new products with new ingredients. So, in order for me to narrow down the cause, I had to stop using everything. When I experience a bad a breakout, I streamline my skincare regimen to basic products, especially cleanser. Hence, the need for a gentle cleanser lead me to a product I hadn’t used since college; Neutrogena Facial Bar.

LINK-END ROUND-UP: November 4, 2016

link-end round-up november 4, 2016

Yay, it’s the first Link-End Round-Up of November 2016! Actually, it’s crazy to think that it’s already November, because October was a total blur. Maybe I was blurred by all the Halloween candy I consumed and all the presidential news congesting our feeds and lives. At least it’s almost over, because if I had to endure another week, I might blow up. Thankfully, I live in a state that has early voting and already casted my ballot. So, on election night, I plan to stop for a bottle of wine on the way home, attempt to finish the bottle, and fall asleep before the announcement. Hopefully, I will wake up to my candidate winning. I just want it to be over.

Another thing that has been congested is my skin. I’ve been getting these little hard bumps right above my cheek bones. I think it’s from using too much face powder. So, I’ve been letting my skin breathe my wearing no make-up on most days. I’ve minimized my skincare products to see if one of them is the culprit. However, I still think it’s the face powder. So, when I do wear makeup, I’ve been opting to set my face with setting spray instead of powder. Something is working, because my skin has cleared up drastically.

This weekend, I plan to configure my living around in preparation for upcoming celebrations and my sister’s 8ft Christmas tree. She is already planning on what color scheme to use this year. Too soon. Anyway, I hope you have an awesome weekend and enjoy the reads in this week’s LERU.

LUST-HAVE LIST: November 2016

lust-have list november 2016

Here it is, November 1st, I’m writing the November 2016 Lust-Have List in a lightweight tee and capris. Where is Fall, already?! Don’t get me wrong, there were a few cool days in October. However, the majority of the month was unseasonable warm. It got up to 86 degrees yesterday, which was Halloween. I actually saw some trick-or-treaters wearing flip flops with their costumes. That’s not right.

All horror and cool weather wanting aside, I’m here to bring you the list of things that I’m eyeing for the month of November. It’s still very fall-sy, because it cool weather has to come and stay this month. It has to!
