Current Foundations in Rotation

For the past few months, I’ve been very diligent about not spending money on makeup, because I have enough. Even after I ran out of my holy grail, kind pricey MUFE foundation, I resisted the urge to replenish my stash. Instead, I pulled out all of my foundation and wore those instead. Thankfully, the current foundations I’ve been using are staple ones.

I’ve been saving money and space with these foundations, which is great. Keep reading to see the current foundations I have in rotation.

The first one that I’ve been using is the L’Oreal Infallible Pro-Glow. Is started using this foundation before the weather too unbearable and my face became an oil slick. Perfectly named, this foundation makes your skin look glowy and flawless. However, since my skin is more oily now, I don’t wear it as much. If I do, I mix a drop of it with one of my more matte foundations.

The next foundation that I wear is the Revlon ColorStay foundation for combination/oily skin. I think it’s safe to say that I wear this foundation 95% of the time. Sometimes, I wonder why I still get the desire to try other foundations, because this is the bee’s knee and toes. It’s so good! I might go into a deep depression if this foundation is ever discontinued. Since this is one the more popular drugstore foundations, I don’t see that happening in my lifetime.

The next foundation I wear frequently is Maybelline’s FIT Me foundation. One of the reasons this foundation is so clutch is because the application is super easy and the formula is buildable. Also, this one of the few drugstore foundations that’s available in plenty of colors, including darker shades. Plus, it’s not too matte or glowy.

Finally, when I feel my skin needs a slight “lift”, I reach for Maybelline’s Instant Age Rewind. This foundation is formulated to make you skin look firm and radiant, which it does. I have to warn you that this foundation is a little heavy, because of the anti-aging ingredients. However, it’s still easy to blend and build. When set with a light powder, the results are flawless, tight, and beaming skin. Pretty much, it’s everything you want in a foundation for aging skin.

There you have it, my current foundations in rotation. In case you didn’t notice, all of these foundations have some form of SPF in them. Having SPF is starting to become one of the prerequisites for my foundations. Trust me, SPF is one of your skin’s BFF.

Please feel free to share which foundations you currently have in rotation below. 🙂
