EMPTIES: August 2024

The products I used up in August is screaming “MY SKIN WAS TRIPPING!” and it’s not lying! My skin gets so mad real quick when I slack on the skincare, which I don’t blame it. I’m a strong proponent for shaming people to get it together. Keep reading to learn more about that and the other products I used up in August 2024.

First up is the BYOMA Hydrating Milky Toner, which is a hydrating toner that help protect and repair your skin barrier. I was looking for an alternative for my favorite hydrating toner and toner did not disappoint. It’s formulated with ingredients that help gently hydrate and moisturize dry skin and lipid to repair the skin barrier. The name is not lying, because my skin feels hydrated all day! Needless to say, I will be buy this again! CORRECTION: I DID buy this again! : D

Personally, I think that everyone should keep a bottle of Vitamin E oil in their home. Vitamin E is helps to moisturize dry skin, including psoriasis and eczema. However, mostly used it to help heal skin irritations and seal in my nightly skincare products. Helped me wake up to soft and glowing skin.

I love when my brows match my copper hair and the NYX Thick It Brow gel in Auburn gave my brows just the right amount of color. Personally, I love my brows can look like they match my brows, but in a natural tone. This perfect and kept my brows in place all day. I need to go another tube, because I keep forgetting to go pick one up!

I think I might have retired Differin from EMPTIES posts, but I can’t remember! Whenever my skin shows signs I’ve been slacking on my skincare in the form of breakouts or dull skin, I reach for this tube. Although this is mostly thought of as a product for acne, it’s also a retinol that helps improve skin texture. Again, Differin is another product I think you should think about having around for future breakouts.

Have you tried any of the Fine’ry scents that are at Target? In case you haven’t, the line contains dupes of popular, higher end perfumes. I picked up the Fine’ry Not Another Cherry scent which is supposed to be  dupe for Tom Ford’s Lost Cherry, which in my opinion is  very good dupe. The only thing is that it doesn’t last long but you can still faintly smell the scent throughout the day. Personally, I use it to layer with some of my strong sweet scents. I will repurchase especially to add some moody vibes to my fall aura.
