EMPTIES: November 2021
Oh, I forgot to share what products I used up in November! Well, let’s get into them now. Keep reading to see what I used up all the way back in November and my final takeaway of each product.
The first up is the Laneige set I got as my birthday from Sephora back in September. When I say that Laneige has yet to let me down, I mean it! I’m firm and forever fan of their Cream Skin Toner and Moisturizer and these 2 deluxe samples made me realize that I need to be trying more from them. First up is the Laneige Water Sleeping Mask, which was super hydrating. So much so, that they recommend that you not use it with other moisturizers. The morning after using this mask had your girl waking up with the soft and supple skin that I only thought existed in my dreams. The Water Bank Moisture Cream didn’t disappoint either and I plan to use the Sephora gift cards I got for Christmas to cop both of these. So good!
Next up is Pattern Beauty Hydrating Shampoo, which I actually enjoyed. My hair has been needing all the moisture it can get, because my hair is color-treated and naturally curly. So, all the hydration and moisture is needed. Currently, I have quite a few different shampoos, including hydrating ones. So, I won’t be purchasing this one anytime soon, but I’d definitely buy it again.
Last month, I finally used up my Olaplex Hair Bonding Oil, which I loved! Like I said, my hair is natural and color-treated. So, hair oils are very necessary for my hair. What I loved about the Olaplex hair oil is that it helps repair and strengthen hair, while also acting as a heat protectant. It’s super lightweight and you only need to use a 1-2 drops, which is why I had it for over a year. Yep, buying this again and soon!
Finally, I used up the Dermablend illuminating powder, which I thoroughly enjoyed! It’s very lightweight and easy to blend – very natural. However, if you want a more noticeable bright undereye area, this isn’t very buildable. Still, it’s a very good banana powder and worthy of it’s iconic reputation.
