Fall Skincare Morning Routine 2017

It’s been fall for almost a month and I just finished curating my fall skincare routine.

There were a few hiccups along the way such as trying to figure out which products were making me break out with dry patches. Actually, there were a couple of combinations that caused this to happen. Keep reading to the see the what and why of the products I use in my fall morning skincare routine.

Despite my desires, my morning aren’t as calming as they used to be. I’m either waking up a little late, because I went to bed later than usual or I’m waking up early to pick my sister up from work. Either way, I’ve been leaning on products that serve 2 purposes to help me save time.

The cleanser I’ve been using in the morning is Juice Beauty Stem Cellular 2 in 1 Cleanser. I like using this in the morning, because it cleanses and tones my face. Therefore, I don’t have to worry about using toner. Now, when I was first playing around with my routine, I would follow this cleanser up with a glycolic toner. I think that was one of the combinations that caused my skin to get dry patches on my cheeks. So, I stopped using toner in the morning, but would spray some Marion Badescu rosewater on after cleansing.

Once I let my face dry, it’s time for the serum. For hydrating purposes, I use the Dr. Jart+ Ceramidin serum. It’s soothing, hydrating, and calms my skin. Plus, it’s supposedly good for anti-aging. I’m not completely sure about that, but it does help my skin look and feel plump.

Finally, I use Neutrogena’s Firming Daily Moisturizer, which also has SPF. As you know, I live for moisturizers with SPF in them.
