Holy Grail Deep Conditioners

After years of contemplating, I finally started the process of lightening my hair. I started my getting highlighters throughout my hair and have the final session at the beginning of June to finish the process. The weeks leading up to this had me deep conditioning like crazy to help enure my hair would be strong enough. When dying your hair, especially when going lighter, you need to make sure your hair is strong and in good condition. The best way to do this is to use deep conditioners after washing your hair once a week.

Holy Grail Deep Conditioners Stained Couture

As a firm believer in the power of weekly deep conditioning, I have a few go-to deep conditioners that I use. Which DC I use depends on the state of my hair, such as if it’s dry, weak, and/or curly. If your interested in what deep conditioners rock my world and tresses, then keep reading.

Shea Moisture Raw Shea Butter Deep Conditioners

I get most of my deep conditioners and hair masks from drug stores, because they are affordable and accessible 24/7. Running to Target at 10pm after washing my hair and realizing that I didn’t have any deep conditioner left lead me to discovering this Shea Moisture Raw Shea Butter Deep Treatment Masque. Designed for damaged and transitioning hair, this masque has raw shea butter and argan oil to help heal and strengthen your hair. The raw shea butter makes this product a little thick, but too heavy. Not to mention, shea butter is great for hydrating your hair. However, I’ve read some reviews that this isn’t good on professionally colored hair. So, I might test it out this weekend on my newly professional colored hair.

Cantu shea butter deep treatment masque

Another one of my deep conditioners with shea butter is Cantu Shea Butter Deep Treatment. This another DC that you can find at most drug stores and big box stores. I used this deep conditioners, because this is formulated to strengthen and restore dry natural hair, like mine. Unlike this Shea Moisture shea butter masque, the Cantu one is more creamy and easy to slide through my hair. I’ve always loved Cantu products on my hair. Plus, I love the way they smell.

MoroccanOil Intense Hydration Mask

MoroccanOil Intense Hydrating Mask is the mask I reach to whenever my hair looks and feels dry AF. Not only does it make my hair feel moisturized and softer almost instantly, but also makes my hair loo healthier. Since this is on the pricier end, I only reach for this when my hair really needs it. So good!

Devacurl Melt Into Moisture mask

My holy grail deep conditioner for when I rock my natural curls is DevaCurl Melt Into Moisture mask, which is so bomb! This conditioner brings my lifeless curls back from the grave moisturized, conditioned, and bouncy. No matter your curl type; your curls will love this mask.

What are some of your holy grail deep conditioners?
