How To Use Vitamin E Oil for Your Skin

When it comes to skincare, vitamins play a big role creating and maintain clear complexion. One vitamin that I’ve been gravitating towards over the past year is Vitamin E. Vitamin E is great for your hair and nails, but I’ve been using it mostly for my skin. Like most vitamins, Vitamin E has many benefits, but shouldn’t be overused and used in moderation. However, when routinely used, Vitamin E oil can help brighten and soften your skin.

My go-to vitamin e oil for my face is Jason Natural Vitamin E oil, which is available at most retailers that sell natural oils and products. For my body and drier parts of my body, such as my elbows and feet, I’ve been using Nature’s Gate Vitamin E oil. This oil has other hydrating oils infused in it, which has been making it a dry skin staple in my life.

Like I mentioned, there are some things to keep in mind when adding vitamin e oil into your beauty and skincare regimen. Therefore, here are a few quick tips to follow when using vitamin e oil.

How To Use Vitamin E Oil:

  • USE IT AT NIGHT – Vitamin E oil is not only potent, but very heavy. Unless you have really dry skin, it’s best to apply it to your skin at night while your body and skin is naturally rejuvenating and open to absorbing oils.
  • USE ON SUPER DRY AREAS – Speaking of dry skin, Vitamin E is great at aiding in really dry skin. Personally, I apply it to my elbows and heels of my feet every night. Works wonders!
  • USE WITH VITAMIN C – Both Vitamin C and Vitamin E help with brightening the skin, so the both of them together give great results. Currently, I’m still using Murad’s Essential-C Cleanser at night, which is a Vitamin C cleanser. So, after I wash my face with my cleanser, I rub a couple of dabs in with my moisturizer to apply to my skin. The two of them together helps me wake up to a soft and brighter complexion.
  • USE IT ON SCARS – When Vitamin E is “brightening” an area, it’s really repairing damaged skin tissue, which  gives the look of fading and brightening of the skin. So, if you have a pesky scar, rub some vitamin e oil on it on a regular basis to help it fade over time.
