ITEM OF THE WEEK: Ouai Hair Oil

ITEM OF THE WEE: OUAI Hair Oil | STAINED COUTURE

Currently, I’m going through one of my hair care products spells. So, I’ve been buying a trying different products to address the needs of my hair. Although this spell only lasts for a couple of weeks, I’ve bought quite a few products these past weeks. I’m still testing them out trying to separate the winners from the losers. So far, they are all showing potential. However, there is one that has been in the lead and that’s Ouai’s Hair Oil. Keep reading to see why this one is already in the winner’s circle.

I would describe my hair as naturally curly, a little thick, and colored. So, I’ve always known the benefits of using oils for your hair. Mostly, i stick to natural oils like almond oil, because they are light and easily absorb into you hair and skin. However, every now and then, I buy an oil specifically for hair.

Like I mentioned, I prefer for hair oils to be lightweight and almost unnoticeable. Unfortunately, most hair oils that I’ve tied in the past feel heavy and weighs my hair down. Ouai’s hair oil feels so light, yet makes my hair look glossy. Also, it smooths and tames my frizzy curls – effortlessly. Not to mention, it’s formulated to help prevent color fading and act as a heat protectant. I’m currently going heatless on my hair for while, but it’s good to know in case I fall off the wagon.

For the past week, I’ve been massaging some in  my hair with an emphasis on my ends at night. After using a extra wide tooth comb to detangle and distribute the oil through, I tie in a low, loose bun with a satin scrunchie. In the morning, my hair is smooth, soft, and billowy. Really nice.

Finally, if you’ve tried Ouai products before, then you may know that they tended to be extremely fragrant. I don’t mind the scent, but some people don’t like for their products to be heavily scented. However, you won’t have that problem with this oil, because it doesn’t have any scent.

You can purchase the Ouai Hair Oil at ouai.com, Sephora, and Ulta.
