Recently, on Instagram, I shared a picture of my flourishing collection of face washes and cleansers. Although I have a need and love for all of them, Urban Skin Rx Even Tone Cleansing Bar has been the one I’ve been using the most. It’s so good and totally worth trying. Keep reading to read all the reasons why I love this cleanser.
Please note that I’ve been wanting to try this brand for a couple of years and this cleanser, in particular. However, they were initially sold exclusively online, but some retailers now carry. After occasionally looking for it for a couple of months, I randomly ran across it at Ulta. So, I had to buy it and it has been amazing since.
However, first, a little background on Urban Skin Rx. Urban Skin Rx is a line of clinical skincare products to help correct skin concerns of ALL skin types and colors, including women of color.
The Even Tone Cleansing Bar is a 3-in-1 product that cleanses, exfoliates, and helps improve uneven skin tone. After using it for a couple of weeks, I definitely saw a difference in my complexion. You use the cleanser by wetting the sponge that comes with it and then rubbing the sponge in the cleanser. Afterwards, you rub the sponge on your face in a circular motion to create a gentle lather. Once done, rinse and discover smooth and soft skin instantly.
After using this cleanser for 2 weeks, I noticed that my complexion was brighter, tighter, and smoother. What else is there to want for your skin? This was so worth wait and it’s my new go-to everyday cleanser.
If you have oily/combination skin and/or dark spots, you should definitely try this product. You can find this cleansing bar at Urban Skin Rx website, Target, and Ulta, which is where I bought mine. Plus, it’s more than $10 cheaper at Ulta and Target. *flips hair* You’re welcome!
