ITEM OF THE WEEK: What A Melon Overnight Mask | STAINED COUTURE

I’ve always been a fan of products that work while I sleep, such as overnight masks. One overnight mask that I love is Bliss What a Melon Overnight Mask, because it’s easy and effective. However, there a few other reason why I love it and it’s my Item of the Week.

For the past month (maybe more) I’ve either been adapting to new life changes (new nephew) or preparing for new life changes (moving). Unfortunately, this has caused me and my skin to feel and looked tired. I haven’t been too tired to do most of my skincare routine at night, but I have been tempted. Of course I end the routine with an appropriate moisturizer, but sometimes I need a little more moisture. So, that’s when I break out the What A Melon Overnight mask.

You apply the mask the same way you apply a face mask, but you don’t rinse it off after 20 minutes. Instead, you leave the mask on, go to bed, and let it do it’s work. In the morning, rinse the mask off your face. Some claims of this mask:

  • Removes dead cells and toxins for a refreshed, dewy complexion; boosts skin’s defenses against stress and the environment
  • Balances to calm and de-stress; rehydrates as it tops off moisture levels and electrolytes to plump and soften

The mask is not very heavy or creamy and feels very soothing when applied. All it takes is a thin layer and it won’t transfer on your pillowcase, because it melts into your skin pretty fast. In the morning, your face will feel soft, supple, and dewy. I love using this mask when I just want to give my skin an extra treat at the end of long day. You can use this mask 2-3x a week, which will be beneficial once the temperatures really start dipping.

I feel this is a good masks for anyone who loves to wake up to a baby-soft and smooth skin. You can find the Bliss What A Melon Overnight mask at Bliss’ website, Ulta, and Target. I live for a good accessible product that doesn’t require me to pay for shipping. 😉
