It’s barely summer and it’s already been unbearably hot. So much so, it’s been too hot for me to care about physical insecurities. I’m so sorry, but ya’ll are going to have to see all of my big, jiggly limbs and other extremities. Not sorry at all! Well, for the most part, I’m going to try and avoid having to be out in the heat at all cost. However, for those days when I have to – jiggle, jiggle. One fashion that I’m rocking with this summer are lace bralettes.
When I first saw lace bralettes popping up last summer all on the IG models in my fee, I couldn’t imagine ever buying or wearing one. However, knowing that there are more options. even for us “upper heavy weight” chicks, I decided to buy one. All it took me was one hot day to realize that lace bralettes were going to be one of my waves for Summer 2018. Not sure if you should hop on this wave, too? Well, I have a few reasons you might want to reconsider.
Lace Bralettes All Summer: Comfy
When you have a bigger chest, it can be hard to find a comfortable bra. However, since most bralettes are not loaded with padding or hooks, they are pretty comfortable to put on a wear. It’s as easy as putting on and wearing a sports bra. Recently, I bought an all-over lace bralette from Lane Bryant and it’s super pretty and comfy. This bralette has decent support, but you can go down a size for a little more support, if necessary.
Lace Bralettes All Summer: Supportive
Speaking of support; there are some bralette options that can give you the same support you would find in an average sports bra. It can be hard to find a bralette with an underwire, if that’s your preference. However, if you want and need some support, look for a bralette that allows you to make adjustment with hooks a other fasteners. A halter lace bralette is good option to get as little more support and/or go down a size.
Lace Bralettes All Summer: Sexy
Let’s be honest, the look of a lace anything peeking out from a loose tee or tank is sexy. Even the simple all-lace, deep-V options are great, but there are some super sexy options. I spotted a rare lace bralette that’s a sheer lace hook-front bralette, AND underwire. I mean, if you can, just get this one.
