Fall Decor for the Lazy Girl Who Loves Fall

I love fall! It’s my favorite jam. So, this past weekend, I spent the majority of my time throwing up fall vibes all up in my home. Actually, fall is one of my favorite times to break out my home decor ideas. Mainly, because fall decor is quick and easy to transition your home from basic dwelling to a cozy fall retreat. Since, I’m not one to spend hours trying to perfect home decor, I opt for small little adjustments and tweaks to add fall feels to my space.

Looking for some quick ways to add so whimsical fall visuals to your home without spending too much time or money? Well, keep reading, because I got you!

fall decor scented candles

The first way to welcome fall is to set the mood. So, what’s the best way to set a mood; candles! One of the most “basic” things I do is strut into a Bath and Body Works when they have their candles on sale. I usually do this in the fall and usually leave with no less than 10 candles. It’s definitely a “Treat Yo Self” moment that I think we all deserve to do.

One of the things I learned and mastered in “adulting” is how throw pillows can change the whole visual vibes of a basic sofa. For fall, adding pillows that have embroidery, furry textures, and heavy fabrics can really help distinguish that your home is all about fall.

It’s fall, but the chilly fall weather we love is running a little behind. However, that doesn’t mean we can’t break out our obnoxious fur throws, right? Well, that’s a personal decision, but they do warm up the look of an otherwise cold looking chair. However, I just wouldn’t wrap myself up with one anytime soon but, you can leave these out all winter.

fall decor mini pumpkins

I’ve always been a little unsure about using mini pumpkins as fall decor. However, this weekend, Kroger had them for 2 for $4. So, guess who bought $12 worth of mini pumpkins this past weekend? Yep, me. However, I plan to paint and decorate mini pumpkins this weekend. Therefore, it doesn’t look like I have fall produce on my coffee table. If the real deal isn’t your thing, Michael’s has plenty of fake mini pumpkins, which also includes decorated ones.
