Stained Couture’s weekly series, Link-End Round-Up, features interesting reads I read from around the internet this week.
Happy April! Well, this came pretty fast, because March felt like it zoomed by. Actually, I don’t mind, because I’m craving for all of the spring vibes. I might even bite the bullet and drag my introverted self to a festival or 2. Yep, it’s festival season and I’m not sure if I’m ready or not. I guess that’s something for me to work on in the next couple of weeks.
Speaking of work. Although March felt fast, this week felt pathetically long. I took Monday and Tuesday off to recoup from Easter Weekend a.k.a Superbowl weekend for Christians. I served all weekend and was pooped by Sunday evening. However, I was able to get my hair highlighted on Tuesday, followed by having some BBQ for lunch in celebration. As I mentioned in my post about awesome deep conditioners, I still have one more session in June to complete the process. After having my hair dyed black for a couple of years is coming back to kick me hard in the butt. However, lesson learned and next time I want to go darker, I’ll go dark brown.
I feel like things are getting back to normal and I don’t have any new appointments or commitments for the next couple of weeks. So, I’m going to use these next couple of weeks to regroup and refocus on my goals; short-term and long-term. First of all, everyone needs goals; something to aspire. Also, it’s good to revisit those goals every so often, because sometimes things you once wanted are no longer a priority. Visiting your goals once or twice a year is a good idea to make sure you’re still on the right path.
As for my weekend, I plan to just chill. That’s all I plan to do and I’m so looking forward to doing it to the best of my powers. Have a great weekend and let’s chat some more next week.
