The faster this year goes, the closer I feel to having a mental breakdown. Maybe it’s because I’m doing so much or trying to do so much, but all good things. This week, I spent some time focusing on my inner happiness by acknowledging and removing unhappy things from my life. Thankfully, I didn’t have much in my life that makes me sad. When I removed some unhealthy people and situations from life a few years ago, I’ve been flourishing ever since.
If you are going through anything or feel like you’re sinking, it might be the things around you that are weighing you down. Even if it means you need to make a clean break from everything and start fresh, do it. You only have one life to live and you don’t need to live it with negative vibes. Good vibes only is more than a motto for me; it’s a goal.
Being mindful of all the good things in life, big and small, removes so much negativity from your life. I love feeling happy, stress-free, and grateful. Actually, those are the things I aim to feel everyday.
The weather is supposed to be picture perfect tomorrow. So, I decided that I’m going to fire up the grill and grill up some chicken, vegetables, and might attempt some kabobs. I’ve never made kabobs, but they are healthy and some so mouth-watering right about now. Anyway, here’s to a great weekend and let’s catch up some more next week. Smooches!
