Happy Friday and St. Patrick’s Day! Let’s celebrate with this week’s Link-End Round-Up. Let’s do this, folks!
Sorry for the lack of posts this week, but my creative juices were not flowing this past week. I’m not positive, but I think it’s this unexpected winter weather. Seriously, Mother Nature, what’s the deal?! On Sunday morning, I had to sit in front of my closet and pull out my snow boots that I packed away a few weeks earlier. I thought we were done with winter weather. Nope, because it’s been freezing cold all week. Hard to talk about all the cute spring fashions and beauty trends when you have to pull out your fleece lined leggings and heavy coat. Eh. However, it’s supposed to warm up this weekend and the sun might even make a cameo or two. We’ll see.
Recently, I’ve been obsessing about money, but not in the way you think. I’ve been obsessed with saving money and how to save it. I don’t know if it’s because I’m finally making way more than I need or the realization that I want to retire one day. Either way, stashing money away for rainy day has become a hobby for me over the past couple of months. I feel adult AF when I see my savings account flourish and not living check to check.
Although it’s been freezing this week, the warm weather we’re experiencing has started to alter my eating habits. Last year was the first year that I paid better attention to what I ate. Since I am human, I fall off the wagon all the time. However, the most important thing is that I get back up..every now and then. Recently, I fell off the wagon and laid there eating everything I wanted. Not good. So, I’m going to finally do the Whole 30, which is something I’ve been longing to do.
Yesterday, I ordered the Whole 30 book, but I’m trying recipes off of Pinterest this weekend to prepare. I’m confident I can do this, because I’ve done various variations of this lifestyle before. I’m excited! If you’ve done the Whole 30 before, please pass along any tips that helped you master it.
In the meantime, have a good weekend. Take a walk, go get a manicure, or try a new recipe that you’ve been wanting to try. Basically, go live your life to the fullest this weekend and enjoy this week’s link-end round-up.
