LINK-END ROUND-UP: September 9, 2022 | STAINED COUTURE

Happy Friday, peeps! What a week it has been for me. In case you didn’t know, I’m a born and raised Memphian and my city has been hurting for the past couple of weeks. This week in particular has been extremely rough and broadcast across the country and even globally. We, as a city and community, need prayers and healing. With everything going on added to the daily stresses of life, my anxiety and stress was at a peak this week. I’m going to be honest, I was scared for me on Wednesday, because my heart rate was insane. Although, I know it was mostly due to a very stressful workday, it was scary.

Thankfully, I was able to get it back to normal before I got home and the city had to go on lockdown. This was supposed to be my meatless week, but I caved for some comfort food in the form of tacos. Was it the best health decision? Of course not, but did it make me feel a smidge better? Yep. I can always start over when needed, which is what I did.

Honestly, I’m just super grateful for everything and everyone in my life! Another thing I’m grateful for is the football season kicking off last night. I seriously can’t wait to spend Sunday loafing on my sofa watching football. I’m so excited because it just helps remind me that is almost here!
