After being wiped off of US drugstore make-up shelves 6 years ago, Max Factor cosmetics is making it’s return the American market with a small selection of items, including their Masterpiece Max mascara and Masterpiece Precision Liquid Eyeliner.
When it comes to mascara, I don’t really have checklist of things in needs to do except add at the look of an additional 3 hours of sleep. Most mascaras do that, for the most part. Since I’m not into wearing fake lashes, I love when a mascara can make my natural lashes look thicker and more defined. Actually, the Masterpiece Max mascara is designed to give you defined, bold, and thick lashes. I will admit that this mascara did help my lashed appear thicker than their natural thinness. However, what I loved most about this mascara is that lash defining. After applying, my lashes look sleek, longer, and not a clump in sight. The application was just as smooth and easy.
Unlike mascara, when it comes to liquid eyeliner, I have needs that need to be met. Anyone who knows me knows that I live and love a good liquid eyeliner, especially if it goes on smooth, stays on a quarter to forever, and has a true blackest black shade. Therefore, Max Factor’s Masterpiece Precision Liquid Eyeliner is one of my favorite liquid liners ever…already. The interesting thing about this liner is the paddle-tip applicator, which allows you to draw a thick line or thin line with just a flick of your wrist. Also, the paddle tip makes tight lining (lining the hard to reach area above your lash line) so much easier. Sooo much easier.
The liquid liner formula dries into a deep black velvet texture that lasts all day, with little to no smudging. Just like the mascara, the liquid liner goes on smooth and dries fast. I love this eyeliner!
