Mix and Match Outfits with LOFT

Last week, I stopped by LOFT to check out some of the new winter items coming and the plus size collection. In the process, I fell in love with all the pieces and how easy they were to mix and match outfits.

Being able to find pieces that you can seamless mix with other pieces will always be one of my favorite things to do. Although there were countless pieces, there were 5 key pieces that are worth investing in to create numerous outfit options.

A think every closet needs a simple camel sweater, because they are timeless and go with everything. This mock neck camel tunic not only fit perfectly, it feels soft and cozy.

Having a leather skirt in your closet is common, but a clean a-line one doesn’t hurt. I loved this faux plus size leather skirt and it has pockets! What’s awesome about this piece is that you can pair it with a simple blouse and blazer for work or knee high boots and tee for a casual look.

Speaking of blazers, this double-breasted navy blazer stalked my dreams. This double-breasted blazer can add sophistication to a simple dress or casual outfit.

Leopard print is a neutral, because it goes with everything. I tend to prefer my leopard print in accessory form, but every women needs leopard print top. I bought and love this leopard print blouse when I stopped into the loft. Initially, I bought this blouse with the impression that I would wear it simple black trousers. However, they also look just as fabulous paired with dark rinse skinny jeans and brown ankle boots. You really can’t go wrong with this blouse.

I will forever appreciate dresses that you can dress up for work or down for play. This plaid tie waist shirtdress, which is at the top of my list to wear for Thanksgiving. A tie-waist is good to accentuate the waist, but let’s you “make room” for a full belly. BONUS: This dress is also available in plus size.

The perfect jean that works for work is a simple, dark rinse denim with minimal to none details. One of the best things I discovered is that LOFT straight leg jeans might be the best of jeans I’ve ever tried. They fit just right and have the right amount of stretch, which is essential in jeans for curvier bodies.
