HP x Project Runway

This weekend, I mostly stayed inside and caught up on Youtube videos and shows that I missed throughout the week. One of those shows was the season premiere of Project Runway.

I didn’t get into last season ( I don’t know why.), but I’m already into this season and contestants. The other I was into were the abundant of high tech toys they get to use to help with their designs. Not to mention, I am in the need of a new computer. So, I killing two birds with one fabulous and shiny stone!

“Project Runway” designers use the latest HP EliteBook Tablet PC notebooks available with second-generation Intel® Core i7™ processors to create winning designs throughout the season.

HP TouchSmart desktop PCsHP video cameras and HP Veer will be used throughout the season to help designers connect with friends and family and tackle challenges beyond the workroom.

The winning designer of season nine will receive a $50,000 prize package from HP and Intel to create his/her own vision.

Coach Jade Wedge

This year is going by extremely fast! August is right around the corner and the fall weather is soon to follow. However, it’s still super hot around most of the country and it doesn’t seem to be easing up anytime soon.

Anyway, I’m still in a romantic relationship window shopping for wedges like Coach’s Jade wedges. They are made of  laser soft leather on a 4 inch wedge. Plus, they a perfect wedge to have and are available in three colors neutral and transitional colors of black, brown, and tan.

LcB Nail Lacquer in Pie Face

Last month, my sister-in-law and I did our yearly visit to the Sisterhood Showcase, which is a local showcase here in Memphis of various vendors aimed toward women of  color, but over the years it has really turned to a family event for all.

Just like last year, I loaded up a various items from Alikat Kouture, roasted pecans, and tubs of black soap and shea butter. However, one vendor that I believe was new this year was a company named LcB nail lacquer.

They had a nice selection of polishes and I was torn between U Blue U Black, which is an opaque true denim blue and the opaque and classic purple shade called Pie Face(above). After much deliberation in 5 minutes, I settled on Pie Face, because I had been feening for a true purple that wasn’t too light or dark.  This shade is perfect for summer!

However, for the past couple of weeks that I’ve been wearing this polish, I can’t help but to think of that blue that I really loved and still want. Also, since I bought this polish, I’ve also been wanting a nice bright orange and I think their tangerine Lil Sista polish is a good contender. I might need to make an order at their online store.

If you are looking for some new, high quality, and trendy polishes that are also safe, then check out Lcb’s website. They also give you recommendations based on your skin tone! Lovely.

Chubby Chaser

I’ve been waiting for these to come out, because I’ve read some good reviews on them. Clinique’s Chubby Stick Moisturizing Lip Color is a powerful cute chubby lip tint stick that not only provides a soft and natural color to your lips, but also is loaded with mango and shea butters.

I haven’t tried them in person, yet, but I already have a fancy to try the Super Strawberry, Whoppin’ Watermelon, and Whole Lotta Honey.

Swooning….Rosena Sammi Peechi Ring

Despite what you initially thought this might be, it’s actually a ring from one of my favorite jewelry designers, Rosena Sammi. Ever since I stumbled upon this ring this week on her website, I’ve been pretty much obsessed with potentially wanting to add this Peechi ring to my pretty bare and drab ring collection in comparison to this ring.

It’s made of  sandalwood and handmade metal work. Looks amazing and I  can’t stop wanting this ring anytime soon.
