Collecting Creme of Nature?!

I’ve never been one to fancy just one brand, especially when it comes to shampoo and conditioner. However, over the past couple of month, Creme of Nature has been my go-to shampoos and conditioners. Since Creme of Nature offers gaggles of products in multiple lines, I  don’t have all the counterparts to the products I’ve been mixing and matching.

I wish I could give you all an indept review of each of the items, but to be honest, they all work awesome on my hair, because they all strengthen, moisturize, and overall make my hair soft and manageable. I plan to try other lines from Creme of Nature, because I’m loving them hardcore right now!

Gotta love AND have a cute laptop case!

This is the first time in 25 years that my mom didn’t have to buy new school supplies and clothes, because her last child graduated from high school in May and she is officially off the hook. I’m sure she’s not going to miss buying bulks of notebooks, paper, and pens, but I will! Although I graduated college over 6 years ago, I would still sneak away from her place with a couple of notebooks and packs of pens. Now, that’s over.

Still, I can’t help but notice some awesome school necessities that I want, like this laptop case that looks like a marble notebook. It’s slim, padded, and looks awesome. Basically everything I look for in a laptop case! I want it.

Revlon ‘Fiercely’ ‘Pop’s MAC’s ‘Poodle’

As of recently, I’ve had a love/hate relationship with MAC products, especially with their lip glosses. Keep reading for more!

What I love about their glosses is that they have a wide range of shades,  but I’ve noticed that in the past few new items and collections that they’ve gone glitter and shimmer crazy. Seriously, those dazzleglasses could guide ships to shore!

Plus, the gooey consistency has been getting on my nerves, even with my go-to Pink Poodle gloss.

So, I’ve been experimenting with other brands and since Revlon is hands down my favorite drugstore brand I just knew that I could find a simpler substitute for my precious Poodle.

Keep reading for more!

The first gloss that was very comparable to Pink Poodle was Revlon’s Fiercely Fuchsia. It’s basically the same color of Pink Poodle, but without the gold speckles that have recently started to annoy me. The consistency is thick and opaque, but not sticky! Awesome.

The next gloss that I got was one that I kept searching random Walgreens around Memphis for, but couldn’t find it and eventually gave up a couple of months ago. However, a couple of weeks ago, I finally found it where I seem to find all the drugstore cosmetics I want now…at Kroger!

I’ve been wanting Revlon’s Super Lustrous in Pink Pop from their Limited Summer Collection that included 3 colors, but Pink Pop was the one that got my heart fluttering when I saw it swatched all over Youtube.

Pink Pop is very reminiscent of MAC’s cremesheen in Loud and Lovely, but not as pigmented or thick which I don’t mind one bit.

To be honest, I’ve recently started to get back into makeup after a few months of not really caring about getting the ‘It’ beauty of the moment. I think it can become to overwhelming when their is a new collection or limited item coming out every week from different lines, not just MAC. However, I think this break did me some good and I’m ready to start building up my makeup collection again. I have a lot catching up to do!
