Printed Sweaters I’m Pondering

It’s been consistently chilly these past week, finally! This weekend, while watching/listening to documentaries on Netflix, I decided to pull out the rest of my sweaters from the top shelf in my closet. While ankle deep in my sweaters, I realized that they were all solid colors. I wasn’t too shocked, since most of my clothes are solid colors. However, for the past few months, I’ve been trying to test out the world of prints. After wearing a few printed dresses recently, I like them a little more every time. Therefore, I feel I need to added some printed sweaters to the mix.

Since this is still a new aesthetic to my basic life, I’m not sure where to start when prints on sweaters. Last night, during commercial breaks during The Walking Dead, I found a few sweaters with prints that didn’t make me question who I was becoming. If you’re interested to see what printed sweaters made me smile while watching “walkers” get killed, keep reading.

Simply Be Jacquad printed Sweater

I’ve always appreciated a good jacquard piece, plus “jacquard” always sound so fancy. Anyway, I’m loving this floral jacquard sweater from Simply Be. I love short sleeve sweaters, because it can get a little warm in the office during the winter. So, this would come in great on those days. This sweater would look so cute paired with a black skater style skirt, black tights, and black booties.

When I saw this striped sweater from Free People, it just screamed “Fall” thanks to rustic colors. The burnt orange and bright red stripes with a few burgundy and teal stripes look so perfect. Plus, the oversized shape makes it look super cozy and casual.

ASOS curve fair isle printed sweater

As a child, I had this red and green fair isle printed sweater that I loved. I think what I loved the most was the fair isle print. So, I’m was instantly taken back to my childhood when I saw this fair isle printed sweater from ASOS. The mustard and black is pretty cute and it doesn’t look like a Christmas sweater.

Confession time! When I saw this animal print sweater from Target, I went ahead and ordered it, because it was on sale for $15 and it’s chic AF! I can’t wait to get this sweater to wear it with my black skinny-ish jeans and booties.

Are you into printed sweaters this year? If so, how many do you currently own?
