In an effort to monitor what I buy, I’m going to start to chronicles what I buy that’s fashion and beauty related here on Stained Couture. So, here is the first edition of Stained Couture’s Shopping Chronicles! Read more to see what I bought!

Converse Chuck Taylor Lo in Optical White

Today was my last off day of the week, so I decided to go to the mall and pick up a couple of things that I’ve been meaning to buy. The first place I stopped by was FinishLine. I’ve been needing a new pair of all white lo top Chuck Taylors. With spring coming up, these are definitely warm weather staples. I ended up buying two pair in the same size and color; a pair for me and a pair for mi madres. She’s been wanting a pair. I already dropped off her pair over at her place, before I took the picture above.

The next stop was Bath & Body Works. I’ve said in the past that can never go in a mall and not stop by Bath & Body Works. I just love it. I went to just browse and check out their new scent, which I didn’t care for. However, I didn’t leave empty handed. I bought the Island Mimosa Tatau Fragrance Mist and smells INCREDIBLE! Its a light floral and citrus scent that just makes me want to laying out on a beach somewhere.

I also had to by a new bottle of sanitizer for my purse. I bought the Island Nectar PocketBac sanitizer and little holder for it to attach it to my keys. Cute.

However, the thing that really made my day in Bath & Body Work was that they had the 14.5 oz 3 wick candles on sale for 2 for $20, which is a good sale considering they are $19.50 each. So, it was basically a buy 1 get 1 free…almost. I bought the Fresh Linen for my living/dining room area and the Fresh Lemon for my kitchen. I love Slatkin and  Co. candles.

While I was waiting for the sales lady to ring me up, as usual, I checked out the new scent that B&BW was slowly introducing called Orange Sapphire. It was too “orange-y” for me, but it you love the smell of oranges, this might be for you. What did grab my attention was the new scented candle from Slatkin and Co. called Sunflower. I love sunflowers and I love this candle. It was only $5 since its still in preview mode, but I see myself buying a bigger jar in the future.

The last place I hit was Macy’s and I made a fast and determined beeline for the MAC counter. All I wanted and needed were two things; the Fleur Power  blush and the Viva Glam Lady Gaga lipstick. Of course they were out of the lipstick, because its uber popular. So, she gave me her card and told me to call back on Thursday or Friday and have one reserved. I did get my blush and the bronzing powder in Refined Golden, because they were out Golden. Just my luck.

My final stop and purchase was at the Daisy by Marc Jacobs counter. I needed a the roll-on bottle, but of course they were sold out. So, I decided to grab the solid perfume on a silk corded necklace. Really cute.

So, after that, I made a mad dash to the door right pass the Lush section, because I didn’t need to buy anything else and I would’ve definitely bought something from Lush.

I hope these post don’t become to overwhelming and do help me curve my love to shop.
