It’s been a while since I posted a Shopping Chronicles post. So, keep reading to see the news stuff I bought this past week!
For some reason, despite the tens tens of boxes of sandals in my closet, I didn’t feel I had enough sandals. So, I kinda went sandal crazy this past couple of weeks! Last week, Gilt.com was having a final sale on accessories, which included DKNY shoes. I bought the DKNY Merle flat sandal in neon yellow and they were only $10. Last spring, I was all about neon pink. I have a feeling that neon yellow is it for me this year. I also bought DKNY Anouk sandals in Nude for $49.99. Yes, I had to get a pair of nude strappy sandals, because they are spring essentials. These are patent leather nude sandals, so I kinda love them even more!Finally, today I did a quick lunch break at Payless to see what I could find at their Easter sale. I just bought two pair of sandals for me to just use to throw on when in need.
Oddly enough, I didn’t buy that much makeup and beauty products this week, well until today. Is there one item that you tend to buy more in certain seasons than others? Well, for me in the spring and summer I load up on conditioner. I do so, because I tend to give myself co-washes conditioner washes) a couple of times of week when I wear my hair naturally curl, which I do mostly in the spring and summer. Recently, I’ve really into Cream of Nature shampoos and conditioner and I love their professional line for chemically treated hair. My hair is colored, so this is an essential.
I bought a Nicka K. jumbo eyeliner in white, NK nail polish in “Really White” (I’m going to use this for french manicures on my toes) and a calcium treatment, because my nails have been a little weak. Let’s see if this help. Also, I bought China Glaze’s Turned Up Turquoise, Klean polishes in Aurora(glitter) and Vikini Green (minty green), and Sally Hanson in Snappy Sorbet ( I love this color!) Lastly, I bought me a tube of Maybelline Shine Sensational Lip Gloss in Mad About Meloon. Yeah, I’m into melon colors this spring as should you!
