Shopping Chronicles: Target-ing my place

So, the BF and I spent the day together running errands and enjoying this warm weather that Mother Nature has gifted us. So, I’ve been meaning to spruce up my apartment with some spring pieces and what better place to start than stopping by Target. So, keep reading to see what I bought and why!

The main thing I wanted to walk out of Target with was a nice bright bowl that I could put in the center of my table and fill up lemons, but I didn’t find one that I loved.

However, the first thing I scored was two black and white pictures that were $9.99 each. One was a picture of a the Eiffel Tower and another of gondolas in Venice. I plan to hang them over my bed. I want to make my bedroom hot fuschia, black and white. I think this will look lovely!

The next thing I got was a hot pink sheet set. I needed some new sheets and needed to give my collection of white egyptian sheet sets a rest. I kinda loving these bright pink sheets hardcore!

While wondering the aisle, I ran across one of there many clearance shelves and saw and bought this huge candle holder with a etching of a skyline around it. I have this big burgundy candle, but no place to put it, well now I do!

Last, but definitely not least, I got one of the cylinders from Target’s Liberty of London collection. I wasn’t sure of which print or size to get. So, I ended up getting the large Maynard Canister. I’m not sure what I want to do with it or put it, but for now, its in my kitchen. Its so pretty and big! I love it and might be re-doing my whole kitchen around it!

The BF said he might stop by again this evening and take me back, because I forgot to get a couple of other things I meant to pick up. However, I want to get a couple of more things from the Liberty of London collection, including the small canisters I want to get to hold my cotton balls and stuff! Also, I completely forgot to swing by a florist or grocery store to pick up some flowers. *ugh, my mind shuts off on beautiful days when I’m off.*
