Starting today, I’m off of work until Monday. So, today is going to be a perfect day to really go ahead and start revamping my space for spring.

The perfect bedroom, in my opinion, is light and airy. Very minimal furniture and nothing too bulky. Currently, my desk is in my bedroom, but I want to move it in my back bedroom to create dedicated office space. I haven’t had a dresser in my bedroom since I was in high school. However, I would love a dresser with in a natural tone.

I stumbled upon this walnut brown and ivory dresser over at Pier 1. Currently, it’s on clearance and make a great piece in my bedroom. I love the contrasting look and design of this dresser and the retro vibes. Plus, tapered legs are so cute for a dresser.

One instant way to make a drab and dark room feel airy and spring like is buy adding some life into the space; flowers and plants. Plus, there are plenty of benefits to having plants in your rooms. While running into Whole Foods for a smoothie, I notices that had these beautiful palm trees in the front. It was only $20. So, I had to get one! Even though I haven’t bought a pretty pot for it, it still has added some much needed life to my bedroom. I picked up some life-like potted flowers and succulents at Target, which added pops of color to my bedroom. I’m sure your room will appreciate it, too!
