Every time a new season rolls over, different fabrics start rolling back out, because they just go so well together. Well, chambray is definitely one of those fabrics when it comes to spring, which I happen to love intensely! Keep reading to see why and to see some examples of chambray pieces!

Chambray is a smooth light fabric woven with white threads and the typical and most popular shade of chambray is blue. I love blue chambray. Depending on the shade, it can give you the look of denim without the weight.

I wish I can say I had an entire area of my closet assigned for chambray shirts and dresses, but unfortunately I don’t. The only chambray piece I own in boyfriend style oxford that I’ve had for about 5 years and its uber soft and I love it. However, its seen better days. Actually, the only days its seen recently are those days when I’m just cleaning up around the apartment or running to have a quick Saturday morning breakfast with the BF.

So, since I’m in need of a few pieces of chambray in my life and maybe you are too, I scrambled up some worth while items that would be perfect additions to any spring wardrobe!
