Since I’m lusting after Ellen Himic hoop earrings for August, I feel I’m sort of emotionally obligated to let my NYC area readers know that she is having her very first trunk show at Bloomingdales at 59th St starting tomorrow all the way through Sunday. She will be previewing her new Holiday collection and taking pre-orders at 10% off and all of her previous collections will be sold at 20% off! So, if you see those two-tone hoops I featured in this month’s lust-have list, scoop them up so at least one of us has them!

I try not to let people indulge too much into my shopping habits, because I don’t want to show my true shopping colors and addiction. However, now that I am trying to cut back, I think that admitting when I buy things will help stop me from spending so much. Read more to understand what I mean!

Its been almost since that devastating earthquake rocked Haiti and the global outreach to help the survivors and victims’ families has been amazing!
The out pour of help and relief continues with the help of some companies donating potions of the sales to the relief effort in Haiti. I have listed a few that are donating percentages of their sales to organizations that are helping Haiti.
