My latest installment of structured piece for fall 2010 is something EVERYONE needs in their closet all year round; structured blazers!

They are classic, timeless, and can create a sleek shape like nobody’s business. Although they can look a little “stuffy”, you can avoid all that by pair them with flowy skirt, baggy shorts, or a wide leg trouser that would put the chicest business woman to SHAME!

I don’t know about you, but when I feel like I need a new “something” (i.e boots, coat, eye cream, etc.), I start spending a majority of my online time looking at those items.

Today, I woke up wanting a new purse for fall. Although I’m in the mood for a nice, big, structured tote that I can just throw things in and dig them out later, Tory Burch’s Dayton Leather satchel just stole my attention for the rest of the evening. So, I felt the need to show you all what will be clouding up my mind for a while until I buy and find a new tote. FYI, I’m think a nice red tote! Any suggestions?

The maxi dress is back and hopefully here to stay! It is defiantly a must have in your wardrobe, not only for summer but for glamourous nights out and even weddings!.  The dress is available in several different styles and sizes. All women can pull off a maxi dress, you just need to know how to wear it. Here are some tips on how to wear your maxi dress.
Perhaps when we imagine the classic maxi dress we picture a floral or batik pattern dress from the seventies connected to the hippie movement. Well, the dress has developed since. If your maxi dress is of that similar seventies fabric, accessorise with big jewellery and lots of it! Wooden necklaces and bracelets, large earrings and hair bands or headscarves go well with a maxi dress. Wear a pair of flat sandals to add to that laid back look.
There is a variety of different styles of maxi dresses. Choose one with big floral or other colourful patterns for the beach, it will turn many heads. If you are buying your first ever maxi dress and feeling a bit insecure, buy a one colour design in, for instance, black or purple. You will be able to wear this in everyday use, dinners out and nights out, shifting between flats and heels, and jewellery. Heads up girls, be careful when wearing a maxi dress on a night out on the town, so you do not trip when dancing!
Do not avoid these beautiful dresses if you do not classify as a six foot tall model, they come different lengths and sizes. Nicole Ritchie and Eva Longoria are two maxi dress queens who do not let their height stop them.

Dr. Martens 1460 Worn, $128, Urban Outfitters – I already  have an idea of what my fall to winter transistion outfit is going to consist of: big sweaters that can pass for a dress, black leggings, and Doc Martens. Just thinking about it makes me giddy for fall. However, I want the look of worn boots, so these work perfectly for what I imagine.

C. Women’s Plus Tunic Sweater, $44.50, Old Navy – Speaking of big sweaters that can pass for a dress, this one from Old Navy’s women’s plus line would be perfect. Note: Old Navy tends to run big in their women’s sizes.I love the khaki color and it would be perfect for fall! Hopefully, they have something in their regular line that resembles this sweater.

D. Junior Drake Carly Hobo in Tan, $164, KarmaLoop - A big tan hobo that looks luxe without the matching price tag. You need a tan bag in your fall wardrobe, as do I. TRUST!

E. Mackage ‘Diana’ Military Inspired Wool Coat, $625, Nordstrom – I know I have a snowball’s chance in hell in me getting this coat, but I couldn’t help not to post it! A navy military inspired Mackage coat sounds like the star of my future winter dreams!
