Drugstore Undereye Concealers
I’ve reached a point in my life when I just don’t want to wear makeup. However, my slightly sunken eyes with dark circles will not allow me to do that without looking like a ghoul. Therefore, if you catch me out and about, I will at least have concealer on over my SPF. I will dust a little mineral foundation powder for some overall coverage. Still, I mostly just war concealer under my eyes.
While being in my “concealer only” era, some of my favorite concealers for undereye are actually drugstore.
In case you are unaware, the E.L.F camo concealer is close to being on icon level. This concealer comes in a matte and hydrating formula. The matte formula was my fav for years, because it would stay in place all day. Now, I reach for the hydrating formula, because my undereye can get dry during the day as I age. Both formulas are top tier in my concealer collection.
A makeup artist on TikTok said that the NYX Bare With Me concealer was really good and she was absolutely right. This NYX concealer has great medium coverage and blends like a dream. I loved the results so much that I bought another one in the actual shade of my face. This one is also hydrating, because it’s a water-based concealer serum. Once you use, you will definitely be able to tell.
The Almay Clear Complexion is another concealer and skincare hybrid. Unlike the previous one, this concealer has salicylic acid to help with acne. I mostly use this at the bottom of my under – near the top of my cheeks. Still, this concealer provides full coverage, but a soft finish. Actually, I need to find this concealer in my face shade, as well.
