LINK-END ROUND-UP: May 31, 2024
I’m so glad summer is practically here! I still haven’t locked down where I want to go this year, but I know I need one! Maybe if I start looking for things to pack, it will motivate me to secure a destination. When it comes to taking vacations, I like to pack light. I like for all of my stuff to fit into you suitcase and a travel friendly backpack. Carefree and easy is what I want when I think of a vacation. So, that’s what I’m looking for in my next one.
Honestly, I probably feel ready for a vacation because this past 3-day Memorial Day weekend tired me out. Although I did meet my protein goals each day, it was mostly in the form of smoked meats off the grill. It took me a couple of days to get rid of the bloat, but I’m back.
This weekend should be a lot calmer than last weekend. I think I’m going to work on my balcony and plants. Very much lazy days of summer are coming, which will involve me going to the pool. I even told my boss that there will be some days I come back from lunch looking a little tanner than when I left. That’s just one of the benefits of working across the street from my apartments.
While I ponder my plans for the summer, check out the reads in this week’s Link-End Round-Up.
