The Midnight Blazer from St. John

This is definitely blazer season, because they are perfect for chilly mornings and nights. However, you should definitely invest in one good blazer that you can dress up and down. Personally, I’m loving this midnight blazer from St. John. Aside from it being navy (ya’ll know I love navy pieces), the gold buttons and softer blue pockets make it a great piece to actually wear all year round.

St. John actually created and gave some pretty amazing looks around this blazer. Keep reading to see them!

Review: L’oreal Paris Sublime Mousse by Healthy Look

I just love that the world of beauty and cosmetics is becoming more and more innovative. The latest innovation is in the world of hair coloring from l’Oreal Paris.

When it comes to coloring my hair, I’ve dyed my hair practically every natural hue of red, blond, and brown that exists. With all those dyes, I’ve tried probably tens of different lines, but all those are pretty much non-existent for me now that I’ve tried Sublime Mousse.

Probably the least favorite thing about dying your hair at home is the application. Squeezing the dye of the plastic little bottle and having to block it from sliding down you forehead to avoid temporarily staining your skin is horrible. Ugh..the hassle and the numerous times I gotten splatter on my bathroom walls is too much to bare. With the mousse formula, it eliminates the gooey and drippy dye and instead is a light and fluffy mousse texture that you easily rub in your hair with the same ease as applying shampoo.

One of the little things I noticed was how soft and shiny my hair looked during the waiting time. Actually, the whole process was smooth and the results were equally amazing, but I’ve always been a fan of L’Oreal hair coloring. They always give me a rich and natural color and the Sublime Mousse was no different.

I was so pleased with my overall results, that I actually bought my mom a box. The reason that I knew that this would be a great product for my mom is because her hair grows quick and brings a nice hairline of gray. So, that leads to  mom dying here hair every month. Let me rephrase that. My mom gets me or my little sister to dye her hair, because she hates the messy application. However, she applied this one herself and was instantly impressed with the ease of the application and the texture of the product. Not to mention, the results were amazing. Complete coverage of her gray hair and natural color.

So, I encourage you to try and be prepared to fall for the L’oreal Paris Sublime Mousse. Its available in 12 natural colors and can be found at your local drugstores.

Made for a man, wanted by a woman.

For the past couple of weeks, I’ve been looking for a boyfriend style gray denim blazer. I’ve searched plenty of stores, online and in-store, but to no avail.

So, I somehow stumbled on the All Saints website and decided to look around and found my dream man denim jacket. I don’t know why I didn’t just look for mens denim jackets instead of limiting it to just the women’s sections?!

I love the relaxed look and feel of this jacket and plus it will be roomy enough to cinch at the waist with a thin colored belt and paired with some leggings or even a nice billowy skirt and a nice frilly lace cami under the jacket to soften up the look. I think I just found the star of my next e-Stylist post.

Why can’t spring be here already, because my brain in flooded with potential spring looks?!?! Aside from boyfriend denim jackets, I have visions of denim cork wedges, bright colored small leather crossbodys, and frilly blouses.

Now that I think of it, I might need to find a couple of more men denim blazers, preferably in a light blue and dark rinse. I guess I need to become more familiar with the men’s section of some of my favorite fashion haunts. Unfortunately, All Saints doesn’t have any blue ones, but I’m on the hunt.
