LUST-HAVE LIST: April 2024

It’s April and despite a few rainy days here and there, April is usually lovely month to enjoy. The weather is nice and makes you just want to be out in the sun and catch a good breeze here and there. It’s almost time hanging out on the patio after work and going to local farmer markets on the weekend. I can’t wait to enjoy this season ; rain or shine!

I’m so ready for this month and all the things that come with it. The items in this month’s Lust-Have List might give an insight into any plans. However, it does show you how I want to look. So, take a look at the things I’m currently wanting in this month’s Lust-Have List.

LUST-HAVE LIST: April 2024

• Herbivore Nova Vitamin C serum – I recently noticed that my skin has been looking dull then remembered I never replaced my vitamin C serum. However, I want to try this new one from Herbivore, because I already use the eye cream from this line.
• Chunky Gold Drop Earrings – I’ve been wanting to get into the large post earrings and this pair off Amazon would make gentle entrance into this style of earrings.
• Short Sleeve Swing Tunic Mini Dress – It’s spring which means I’ve started to look for cute, easy dresses that I can try on for work or running errands. Love the look and of this dress from Anthropologie.
• Mini Bucket Bag – If you know me, you know I love mini purses. Currently, I’ve been obsessing over the look of mini buckets, especially this one from Madewell.
• Wide Leg Dad Pants – If I can’t spend everyday in a cute dress, then these wide leg dad pants will work just as well. The look so chic dressed up or down.

LUST-HAVE LIST: March 2024

For February to have an extra day this year, it still shorter than usual. So much, this month’s Lust-Have List crept up on me. Better late than never or in the middle of the month. Although it’s not technically spring until March 19th, the weather has been acting like it’s already here. Therefore, this month’s Lust-Have List is mostly leaning towards Spring being here already.

So, keep reading to see what I’m eyeing for this month and most of Spring. Is that a leather jacket I want in March?! Well, keep reading to find out. 😉

LUST-HAVE LIST: March 2024

• Coated Bomber Jacket – Weird that I would want a new  coat in March, but we usually get one more big chill in March. This faux would pair to layer with a denim skirt or leggings and oversized t-shirt.
• Paula’s Choice Mandelic Acid Liquid Exfoliant – I love PC AHA/BHA liquid exfoliant, which makes me want to try this one from them. It’s supposed to be more gentle, but with more benefits. It even touts that it can reverse damage skin barrier. Consider me intrigued.
• Midi Denim Skirt – I saw this skirt in Target a couple of weeks ago and immediately knew I want it for my spring wardrobe. Perfect for a casual work day or weekend friend dates.
• New Balance 2002R – A new New Balance store recently opened up near me and I need to run in to see if they have this pair. I’ve been wanting a pair of New Balance and I think this is the pair I want. Plus I need a new pair of all white sneakers.
• Denim Tabby Shoulder Bag – One of my fav fashion influencers shared this bag on her IG stories and it’s been living rent free in my mind and heart since then. I’m obsessed!

LUST-HAVE LIST: February 2024

I know we say this every year, but January was long! However, I’m looking forward to February because it’s my last month of hibernation before I start preparing my yearly reset. Most people do this as their New Years Resolution, but I usually wait for spring work on my growth for the year.

As for February, it’s the month of love, Black History Month, and a leap year. So, we get one more day to bask in love and Black History. Honestly, I plan to spend most of the month dreaming about spring and it’s weather. I’m still trying to recoup from the winter weather from last month, because it was brutal. Not to mention, we probably have one more winter storm coming this month. Dreading that real bad.

The things in this month’s Lust-Have List sparked so much joy and each serve a need for me. So, keep reading to see the things I’m wanting this month.

LUST-HAVE LIST: February 2024

• Kendrick Trunk Bag – I’ve been wanting a Blackwood bag for so long, especially a trunk bag. Safe me would usually go for a neutral, but this red cheetah print is too fab to ignore.
• Dolce Gabbana Devotion perfume -I’m usually into clean or unisex type scents, but I’m to get into more feminine floral scents. Heard this scent from D&G would appease my usual scents and new ones.
• Denim Pullover Shirt – I used to have a denim tunic that I would wear at least once a week. It would allow me to look be pulled together and casual. This shirt from H&M is giving me the same vibe. Easy and cute for spring. Is it too soon to be dreaming of spring?
• FOREO UFO 2 -I was thinking about picking up a FOREO cleansing brush, but their UFO device helps to hydrate the skin and improve the look of your skin. I’m sold!
• Nike Waffle Debut Sneaker – Another month and another pair of sneakers I’m eyeing for walking. However, I hope these will also help with my aspirations to start running in 2024. *fingers crossed*

LUST-HAVE LIST: January 2024

Happy New Year! I hope you had a nice holiday season and got plenty of rest. Also, let’s aim to give 2024 all that we got so it can reward us, because 2023 was insane.

Honestly, I’m very hopeful for 2024, because I would hate to think or expect it to get worse. I still don’t do New Year Resolutions and will spend the rest of Winter hibernating and thinking about my revival list for Spring. Plus, I think we all need to rest after the holidays and for as long as possible; for mental health.

As I’ve mentioned before, my September LHL is my birthday wish list. The December LHL is my Christmas wishlist but the January list is things I wish I asked for Christmas. It never fails, starting 2 days before Christmas, I start thinking of things I wish I asked to receive. This year was no different and here is the January 2024 Lust-Have List of things I wish I got.

LUST-HAVE LIST: January 2024

• UGG Ultra Mini Classic Boot – The mini UUGs were on a lot of Christmas lists and I should’ve put them on mine. These are so cute and probably super easy to put on to run errands.
• Tower Non-Sticky Jelly Lip Gloss – Matte lips or pink lip oil has been my daily lippie for the lasty couple of months. However, this non-sticky jelly lip gloss by Tower is intriguing.
• Instant Milk Frother – Santa did bring me and Nespresso maker and I’ve used it almost everyday since I put it together. All the espresso and coffee drinks made me think I need to upgrade from the little IKEA frother wand. This frother/warmer hybrid would help boil water for tea.
• Connection Necklace – One thing I would like to do is start buying myself more little everyday jewelry  and  eventually the more luxury pieces. Until me and my budget can get it together, the pieces from Aurate will do, including this connection necklace. Simple and clean design that can effortless be worn everyday.
• Posture Corrector Sports Bra – If there was one thing on this list I need the most, it’s definitely new sports bra and the posture correcting is the cherry on top.

LUST-HAVE LIST: December 2023 (Christmas Wishlist)

The same way that every year the September Lust-Have List is my birthday Wishlist; the December one is my Christmas Wishlist. I already know that I’m getting one of these items I’m definitely getting as gift. I also know what I’m going to end up buying for myself.
