Last year was the year a minimized various areas in my daily life. However, the main thing that I minimized was my everyday grown woman bag. Ever since I was in high school, I always carried a big purse, be it a tote or oversized satchel. The bigger it was, the more likely I would want it and buy it. However, last year, I decide that I wanted to challenge myself to start carrying smaller bags. Not only were my bags last year “smaller”, but they were pretty much mini bags.
It took me a while to get used to only carrying a bag that could only hold my phone, keys, and maybe a tube of lipstick. However, after a couple of months, my mini purse became my new norm. In the fall, I eventually upgraded to carrying small, but roomy pouches. This challenge has been fun for the past year, but I’m ready to start carrying roomy purses again. Thankfully, I already found a few possible contenders that meet my needs.
When it comes to buying items that I know I will hardly use, but will need, I look timeless looks. When it comes to a backpack, I feel like I need one. Although I would rarely, if ever, carry this bag, I know having one will come in handy. So, I’ve been trying to decide on a timeless backpack to buy to have when needed.
After bookmarking roughly 25 different options, I finally settled on one that I now believe everyone should consider owning. Keep reading to see which one I picked and why.
Last summer, I scored a cream peplum top covered in gold stars, which is one of my favorite tops. Ever since then, I’ve been obsessed with anything emblazoned with stars. Not to mention, there are a lot of star covered items out there. Starry styles are whimsical, my new favorite print, and I need more. One of the good things about all over prints like this is that you can keep everything else minimal. However, you can also go star crazy and I won’t judge.
Since my only star covered item is a thin peplum top, think I should I should get a warmer item that I can wear in the colder months. I found a lot of cute star covered items and even though I want them all, I cant’. However, if you think a star covered anything should be in your life and closet, keep reading.
