eSTYLIST: July 4th Outfit 2018

In case you aren’t aware, July 4th is one of my favorite holidays – BBQ, fireworks, and free off day from work. Aside from the 4th encompassing some of my favorite things, it’s also a great reason to buy a cute new summer look. When I was kid, my mom would buy me and my brother a new 4th of July outfit every year. Even if we just wearing it to eat grilled hot dogs and watch the adults light fireworks in the middle of the street. However, those are still some of my favorite childhood memories to this day.

Unless I’ve been invited to 4th festivities, I mainly just wear whatever I can concoct from the clothes in my closet. I mean, I’ve accumulated enough options over the years. However, I occasionally might pick up a nice comfy tee or simple sandals, because of all the holiday sales. This weekend, I ordered this tie-hem tee from H&M and plan to break out this dark denim skirt that I got from Simply Be last fall. A love a good casually styled casual look paired with simple accessories. I also love that the straw bags from last summer are still in for this summer.

If you’re looking for a little July 4th outfit inspo, I hope this helps. Not to mention, these pieces are easy to mix and match all summer 2018. Check out all the details below.

When I pack for vacation, I start by being realistic of what I’m going to need. I loathe over-packing. One of my favorite things in life is a well-worn, soft vintage tee. I like to think of myself as a comfy tee connoisseur, because I know the feel of a tee that will age nicely. Unfortunately, it can take a long time to wear out a tee from crisp and constructed to soft and worn. Thankfully, we don’t have to wait it out, because there are plenty of affordable vintage tees. Not only are there options, but affordable options.

Gazing at Starry Styles

Last summer, I scored a cream peplum top covered in gold stars, which is one of my favorite tops. Ever since then, I’ve been obsessed with anything emblazoned with stars. Not to mention, there are a lot of star covered items out there. Starry styles are whimsical, my new favorite print, and I need more. One of the good things about all over prints like this is that you can keep everything else minimal. However, you can also go star crazy and I won’t judge.
